We liked it as a couple (one child). Best location to all possible destinations in the city and romantic under the roof. The Harz highlights Rübelandhöhlen, Büchenberg mine and Brocken - everything for hikers who are used to the rough, fit and experienced, or by bus and Brockenbahn. Thanks also to the nice representative on arrival, so everything worked out like Harzer Hexenzauber. It's true: for small earthquakes, if you forget the sloping roof when you get up, you don't need a hand brush or wiping cloth. But obviously everything is fixed when new guests arrive - so stay relaxed. If there are missing ribbons on indiscriminately crisp white towels, I recommend large safety pins - old hiking hands always have them with them.We would come back.

Great location. Large apartment and everything you need. I'd love to come back. Priced very fairly too.

We booked the large holiday apartment for six people. When we arrived the entire apartment smelled musty. When we entered the bathroom, we knew why: the bathtub had been dug out and placed sideways. The landlady's justification was renovation work - she can't change anything about that. But we were not informed beforehand! We found this very cheeky for the price we paid. The kitchen lamp was broken and a lamp in the bathroom and in one of the bedrooms was also broken. The windows in one of the bedrooms also didn't open. The phone contact with the landlady was unfriendly and pointless. We definitely wouldn't go here a second time. Too bad.

Had the worst holiday apartment in Wernigerode so far. After falling down the stairs due to the poor condition of the stairs, we were informed that it can happen that you fall down (statement from the landlady).Apartment in absolutely unacceptable condition.I wouldn't recommend this apartment to anyone.

We lost the fun of the holiday as soon as we arrived. We were traveling with an infant and dog and were told in advance when exactly we would arrive. We were called three times on the way. When we arrived we waited another 10 minutes for the landlord. Without a warm welcome or hello I'm... we were led into the apartment. When our dog ran onto the laminate (we had picked out the apartment so that our dog could come with us) she gave us a dirty look and said that everything was new. Now our dog can't fly and we asked that the apartment was rented to dog owners. She replied yes! She assumed that you had a basket for the dog and that it would stay in it the whole time. That was the moment when we wanted to drive again. The next morning at 9:00 a.m. (she called) we were allowed to open the gates for her so that a container could be picked up. There was no broom, so we occasionally swept through on all fours with a hand brush. No instruction on waste separation, container locations or key return regulations. Very poor. The apartment was okay and in a great location, but if you don't feel welcome, you just don't feel comfortable. A pity!

The location is great. You are practically in the center. About 10 minutes walk to the train station. It's a bit difficult by car as there are only paid parking spaces nearby and these are usually full.We had apartment 4 with 2 bedrooms. There was enough space. The apartment appeared to have been recently renovated, although not necessarily by a professional. But that didn't particularly bother me.

The town of Wernigerode is beautiful, unfortunately the apartment is not, it doesn't deserve a star.

A nice, large apartment with everything you need. And it's pretty close to the center so that if you want you can get something for breakfast every morning from the bakery (about a 3-minute walk away). There's also a Greek restaurant right under the guesthouse offers very tasty food. However, it is annoying when the floor cracks when you walk and you have to hear this noise all night long, so it is not for those who are a bit sensitive to noise.

A nice apartment that is close to everything and where you can walk to the city's attractions. …
