Nice place with a view of the Brocken (if it's not obscured by clouds). Sanitary clean, which is ensured by changing your shoes into bathing shoes provided by the campsite or of course your own. Good concept. There is a bread roll service and the bus stop (line 264) right on site. The bus ride is free thanks to the tourist tax. One small thing that is negative is the non-adjustable shower heads. As a result, my anteroom was directly under water, which was supposed to stay in the shower tray. Thank you for the lovely stay.

Our very first campsite. Very dear employees. Very clean (plumbing etc.). Really well organized. Cozy lounge. Fits well into the surroundings without looking like GDR camping. Rather small but very nice. Very good starting point for hiking on the Brocken. A dream in autumn. We'll be back.

Very nice team, everything is right here, the large space for mobile homes and tents can be found here. Motorhomes with fences for dog owners can also be found. The best idea if you want to go to the toilet or shower is to take off your shoes and put on flip flops. The place is good and clean.

A beautiful, well-kept campsite with friendly operators. Sufficiently large pitches with good views. Sanitary area is modern and clean. Bread service! Electricity is billed based on consumption. Barrier system controlled by license plates.

Very friendly operator and accommodating! We got a great spot with a view of the Wurmberg! The sanitary facilities are clean and don't cost extra!The place is a great starting point for hikes and you can reach Schierke on foot in just a few minutes.

Because you can't reply to your answer. Here again. The plan was for my husband to stay at the campsite with the two 17 year olds and I to stay in a holiday apartment with the two small children. According to Adam Riese, 2 17 year olds plus 1 adult makes 3 people. How much was booked for? For 3!!! And I quote your words about my husband's explanation: "You can believe that or not" "So you are questioning my husband's illness. And to wrinkle the teenagers like that and portray them as liars is beyond all cannon.

Here by chance a year ago, planned now. Great, small, fine campsite. Nice service, everything clean, tidy and modern. Bus ride with tourist tax was perfect, dogs were also taken without bite protection. Great! Booked places were dog places with a fence around them. Mega!

We would also like to give more stars if possible. We had a very nice pitch for our tent, the service is great, the staff were friendly, the space and the sanitary area were clean. What more could you want? We'd love to come back.

We stayed at this campsite for two weeks. We liked it very much. The owner and staff are very friendly. The place and the service building (sanitary, scullery, lounge) are very clean. There is a nice mix of campers with tents, caravans/mobiles and “bullies”. Campers with tents have a fantastic view of Wurmberg and Brocken. Everyone else has a great view. We didn't notice the nearby road as a nuisance; we were there during the forest fire and there was therefore an extraordinary amount of traffic on the road. The campsite is a great starting point for hikes and the odd bike ride, including on the Brocken. The town of Schierke can be easily reached by bike or on foot. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back.

24_09_14 I'm back in Schierke, where I worked hard from 2000 until my retirement in 2018.Schierke has become a second home for me over these 18 years.At the entrance to the town, the so-called Schierker Stern, every visitor is welcomed by a welcome sign.What's shocking to me is how barren the Upper Harz has become and how far you can see today. 😓😢

Huhu, we can only recommend this campsite, clean sanitary facilities + kitchen.The operators were super friendly, they were on site at around 8 a.m. on the day of arrival, we were allowed to enter the facility with our vehicle, so we were able to fully enjoy the first day, we couldn't have completed all the formalities until the next day, great.Service great (roll service).The view of the Wurmberg, great.Just a short walk to Schierke. Super.
