We recently spent two weeks at the Weber riding and holiday farm and unfortunately we cannot understand the mostly positive reviews. We would like to show why. Our holiday joy was mainly clouded by the heavy vehicle traffic on the entire site, which was life-threatening for the children. The farm is divided by a thoroughfare that is used to reach another farm and agricultural areas. This is not structurally separated from play areas and lawns, has no side strip/sidewalk etc. and must be used to reach the farm's own playground. The heating with agricultural machinery and cars by farmers, veterinarians, visitors, nursing services, bread roll service, etc. is life-threatening for the children playing. The farm's own minor children (estimated age 10 to 12 years) have permission to drive the agricultural machinery with the bale transport fork facing forward alone and to drive the operator's car accompanied by them throughout the entire farm area. The owner looked at the phone while driving.A double-digit number of horse boxes are rented to external horse owners who sometimes care for/visit/ride their horses several times a day. Same problem as above. This significantly increases the number of vehicle movements on the entire farm area used for playing.Of course, the owners never tire of emphasizing that the duty of supervision lies with the parents. And of course there are also signs “Children playing – please drive slowly.” Both are a given that I assume anyway. However, I did not expect that as soon as I moved more than 2 meters away from my children (2 ½ and 5 years) there would be extreme danger. Going out of the apartment, grilling, making stick bread, 2 children wanting to do different things and you maintaining eye contact, etc. Everything is impossible. We are happy to have returned home healthy. There are also a few other negative points but also positive ones that I don't want to withhold:+ The pool. Heated, covered, big enough for all children on hot days, it couldn't be better.+ Riding. Our daughter learned a lot, it was always fun, scheduling is flexible, prices are reasonable.+ Charging option for our electric car- Non-working internet is dismissed with “We all have problems at the moment.” I then took care of it myself and corrected the faulty wiring- View from the apartment INTO A MANURE PIT and agricultural machinery pushing cow manure during breakfast- The owners' sons use the games room for hours to play Playstation. So we couldn't stay there for long with our little one- The playroom: A lot of things are broken and/or incomplete. For example: table tennis bats, dartboard with arrows, skittles etc.Unfortunately, the yard itself makes an untidy and dirty impression. Many corners and areas are cluttered with old vehicles, old tires, bulky waste and various junk, and the garbage station is anything but pleasant.
