Absolutely old, musty and carelessly furnished. The walls and doors are so thin that you can even hear the neighbors talking to their dog across the hallway.

We stayed here for one night as we were passing through. We didn't see the hostess once, the neighbor handed over the keys. It smelled musty, the fly screen was only hanging at half past seven, there were dead moths on the floor behind the forehand and the bed squeaked with every slightest movement (the movement of one part of the body was enough to cause this). There seemed to be only one other guest in the large house. The lower area through which one went to the stairs (to the rooms) appeared to be cluttered rooms for private use, the doors of which were open when we arrived. At least the bathroom was clean, but there was no soap. There was no breakfast, but that was announced beforehand. Not really recommended for the price.

I wanted to spend a nice weekend at Chiemsee. When I asked the tourist information office, I was given the "Chiemseeklause" as an accommodation option.Very nice young lady on the phone when booking, who admitted that no breakfast was offered, but I accepted because breakfast options were mentioned outside the hotel.What awaited me, however, surprised me more than anything:Very outdated house, musty and musty smell, "reception" not occupied, very dark, only one lamp on, had the impression of being the only guest, tiny shower with water and lime stains everywhere. Old and frayed towels and Shower mats........ Offering something like that as a place to stay overnight and charging money for it is not possible at all..

We stopped here on the way to Croatia. Ideally located on the A8. Short way to Chiemsee. Inexpensive accommodation, clean room, very nice hosts. There is food on site.

The hosts welcomed us incredibly warmly and made it easy for us to feel completely comfortable there. The accommodation has everything we needed and is pleasantly clean. Since we came without a car, we were helpfully picked up to and from the train as a matter of course , drove to the bike rental and was simply given good tips.In the Chiemseeklause you can feel that the heart beats for the guests and the guest business.Thank you!

Very short-term and quick booking. Flexible arrival and departure times. Very pleasant stay. Quiet location. Rooms are simply and chicly furnished. Operators are very nice and enthusiastic about having a nice conversation. Cheap price. Definitely recommended.

Unfortunately, there is a significant renovation backlog here. We booked a double room and a single room for our son. The rooms were clean and the furnishings were fine. Unfortunately, you can hear the nearby highway when the windows are open. There are some rooms in the house that are not in use and are full of junk. THE location is great, however, as you can easily walk to the ferry pier. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The landlords were very nice. Our conclusion if you close your eyes for 1-2 nights it's ok. but not any more. It's a shame we could do more with this.
