The perfect wellness hotel for us!We were looking for a wellness hotel for a long time that also offered a spa suite at an affordable price. Here we found it. The hotel has a large wellness area with a pool, various saunas and many relaxation areas, but for us the highlight is one of the three spa suites with its own barrel sauna and whirlpool wooden tub on the balcony.The hotel also offers either a course menu for dinner or eating individually according to the menu, which is not standard for a wellness hotel, as many wellness hotels only offer an overnight stay in conjunction with a course menu. This is also why “Das Weitblick Allgäu” is the perfect wellness hotel for us, you don’t have to book anything you don’t want.The breakfast also leaves nothing to be desired, whether cheese counter, muesli, Allgäu specialties, or freshly prepared egg omelette, there is everything a gourmet's heart desires.

There were magic lights today... Nicely done. But a little careless. There were NO plaids available outside in the evening atmosphere. When asked - what, so much? Only 3 were needed‼️The advertised raclette bread for 6.50 euros would be 2 tiny slices of rye bread with purchased roasted zest and Guerkenstueckchen and gratinated with the cheapest sliced toast cheese from the discounter

Food great, service too, rooms okay: especially the shower with pulsating pressure (constantly fluctuating) and water constantly getting hot and cold was annoying. And the sink may be beautifully designed, but the arrangement of the faucet is just stupid 😵

We had a pleasant stay at the day spa. The welcome was very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. We would particularly like to highlight the sauna master Charlie, who greatly enriched the sauna visit with his friendly manner, great tips and little stories.Unfortunately the sauna area only opened at 11 a.m., which we found a bit late. Another disadvantage was that there was only a cold swimming pool and no whirlpool or similar with hot water. We would have liked more privacy in the relaxation rooms, as the loungers are arranged very close to each other and facing each other, which gives the feeling that you are staring directly at each other.It was also annoying that many guests reserved the loungers and then left them unused for hours, while others barely found space. Particularly unpleasant this time were several groups of women who were talking loudly despite the quiet area.The dinner and salad buffet were excellent and the service was very attentive, which rounded off the day in a pleasant way. Overall, we probably won't visit this day spa again, but we are curious about the company's other locations.

We went to the Weitblick wellness area for the day, it was a really nice day, from the breakfast buffet to the wellness area with a great massage, saunas, steam bath with peeling and the crowning finale, the 3-course evening menu, an all-round perfect day with perfect service, we really enjoyed it felt comfortable and our every wish was fulfilled.

Very nice and modern hotel, with spacious rooms.Service was very friendly, both in the restaurant and at the reception.We were very positively impressed by the food and especially the breakfast buffet.We had stated before booking that we would like to travel with a large dog and specifically asked whether we would like to take the dog with us to eat. We were informed that there are two restaurants, one allows dogs and the other doesn't, which was absolutely no problem for us. From the hotel itself it was absolutely no problem taking the dog with you to the restaurant and the staff were always reserved but friendly.Unfortunately, the other guests didn't seem to be aware of this, so we had to endure comments like "you can't take such a big dog into the restaurant" and annoyed faces every evening. In general, the density of bad-tempered older couples was relatively high, so you may have to decide which target group of guests you want to address. Normally, dog owners are quite communicative and like to let the dogs play for a while, but unfortunately that wasn't the case here.I would highly recommend the Freiblick for single couples, great food, great breakfast, good service, as far as we could see, great spa area, for dog owners, but unfortunately only to a limited extent.Unfortunately for us, the dog was the main reason for booking the Weitblick.

This is a fantastic property, truly a wonderful stay. Had a clean, comfortable and spacious room with a balcony - didn’t expect that! - with a lovely view of the rolling hills and mountains. The pool, relaxation rooms and various saunas are SO great - exactly what I needed to unwind. Nice gym on the top floor. Had a very good dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. And very nice staff working as well. Overall an excellent experience, 100% recommend!

A very nice wellness hotel!Various saunas & relaxation rooms.The rooms are nice and have a large shower.We had a 5 course evening meal which was really delicious!Overall, really highly recommended :)

Wanted to drink a café.The good man had and ignored it. We then went to the Reisacher in Mauerstetten, where the cake and coffee were very good and the service was quick, despite the restaurant being full.

We cannot judge the rooms. We were only at Weitblick Allgäu for a wellness day. The wellness area is very nice, there are enough relaxation rooms, both in the pool area and in the sauna area. Great treatments and infusions are offered, water and tea as well as apples in the spa are free.Our day started with a nice breakfast from the buffet and we ended the day with a very good 3-course menu. It was a completely successful and relaxing wellness day. Thanks to the friendly team.

A modern hotel with a location that celebrates the Alpine panorama. A pleasure. The food was excellent, the sauna area was impressive as was the pool. I particularly liked that the origin of the food and drinks was impressively presented; the concept of the house becomes clear so quickly. Overall, I like to rate the hotel with all stars

Nice hotel, well managed. Friendly employees from all over the world. You feel good. Respect the hotel industry can also be fun. Keep it up. Kitchen is very tasty, wellness is excellent. Brunch experience is not cheap, but it is an experience.If we want a nice weekend then here.

A wellness hotel in Marktoberdorf. Why do you go there? Watch Neuschwanstein? Regardless, I had work to do and the description sounded good. Pool and fitness? It won't bother you. After booking via a portal, it takes less than five minutes until I receive an email informing me that children are only allowed to use the pool area between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Ok, I won't be going here with my family for the next few years.When you arrive at the parking lot, you still feel like you're in a new development in Hanau, but once you're inside the large, bright hotel, everything is fine. This is a wellness hotel and I am somewhat out of place in the jacket among the many bathrobes in the elevator. It is a new building and, despite the tasteful furnishings with light wood, is therefore only moderately romantic. The rooms are nice and large (especially the bathroom with a separate toilet) and the landscape around the hotel is even more beautiful and larger. No wonder there are so many cars with bike racks in the parking lot. In fact, you can almost only see green hills and a bit of forest.The hotel has two restaurants. In one of them a young lady is grilling. I have Mrs. Delicious at home, so it goes to the other one. Chicken dumplings with peanut sauce and onion roast. Three quarters of a liter of red wine - great (no, there were only two glasses). The rest of the menu sounds good too.Since I can't use the wellness and fitness area, I check out the Sky Bar on the third floor after dinner. There is an impressive selection of cocktails and spirits. I choose a Mai Tai and love it. This isn't a bar like in Berlin, Munich or Cologne - but with cozy purple plush furniture (there's also a terrace), it's an ideal place to chat - and in contrast to many big city bars, the staff are really friendly. But wall paneling would look good on the bar - it's expensive at first but hopefully it will last a long time.All the people at the hotel are nice and accommodating and I'm happy to see personalities that don't seem like some of the clone troopers from the big international chains.Maybe someone will have the time to replace the somewhat inappropriate (nevertheless beautiful) landscape photos from all over the world with local motifs, then it will be almost perfect.
