Unfortunately, due to an employee's mistake, I had to pay twice. I was promised the next day that I would receive the money back. Nothing happened, after 2 months, several emails and phone calls: nothing. I can't understand such behavior and find it sadUpdate: Thanks to the VERY dedicated and friendly lady at the reception who stuck with it and stuck with it, the money came back today. Ms. W. should get 5 stars and more.

Large, spacious room, large bathroom, very good breakfast, bicycle shelter, too few bicycles were outside the shelter. There were some pieces of junk under the shelter. Room facing the street, noise coming from outside.

The “Von Euch” is a really cute and very well-kept hotel. We stayed for three nights including breakfast and are happy to recommend it to others.The location is central in Meppen, you could be a little worried since the hospital and church are in the immediate vicinity, but for us it wasn't that bad. The staff also takes precautions: there are ear plugs for the guests in every room! The rooms are very well maintained and clean, although not very modernly furnished, everything is there and comfortable. The bathroom is equipped with a nice large shower, although we didn't quite understand the shower partition and flooded the bathroom regularly. The breakfast buffet has holiday-friendly opening times (Sunday until 11:30 a.m.). It is equipped for continental breakfast. Everything you need is available, including bacon, egg variations and sausages. I was glad that it wasn't overly filled, otherwise a lot of it ends up in the trash...Now for the icing on the cake of the hotel: the staff! Super friendly, very attentive, thorough and extremely fast (housekeeping).

Restaurant:Spontaneity is equal to -1, the waiter's motivation decreases rapidly as the size of the group increases. The food is ok, but nothing special.P.S.: Give waiters at risk of burnout an extensive treatment to relax their stress levels.Until next time #not

Stayed in this hotel for a few days in June. Had a room facing the street. This was very loud. From early on, a construction site was making noise. But the worst thing was the heat in the room. The sun shines on the windows all day. The hotel provided a stand fan and earplugs in the room, neither of which helped at all. The nights were torture. The breakfast was average in terms of offerings and they can't make coffee either. The staff was sometimes very snippy at breakfast and at reception. So the negative qualities outweighed the negatives. We will definitely not book this hotel again.

I stayed at this hotel for a week on business and found it quite comfortable. It was just a shame that breakfast is only available from 7 a.m. and on Sundays only from 8 a.m. I know other hotels where you can have breakfast from 6 a.m. But as an alternative there were very rich packed lunches.

Excellent location and nice terrace. Very courteous staff, especially the young lady who was very helpful and committed. Overall, it was a wonderful evening and I would be happy to come back any time.
