Customer review for the stay from June 2nd - 6th, 2021The most important thing first: the stay was super duper lovely! In Corona times, some people like to be away from overcrowded vacation spots - including us. The Fichtelgebirge attracted us with its low incidence, and we were lucky to find this great accommodation on eBay classifieds. Beautifully located in the countryside, with very nice landlords (the Rausch family) next door, a swimming lake with a raft within walking distance, shops and an outdoor swimming pool in about 20 minutes by car, your own garden, your own grill, your own washing machine (even with washing powder) and and and...We were the first guests to move into the great single-family house with our 3 kids (9,7,1) for four nights and felt super comfortable in the 125 square meters. Up to now we have always piled into 40 sqm holiday apartments with two children. In contrast, this wonderful amount of space was pure luxury. Above all, there is everything you could want in terms of equipment, even for the kids, books, CDs and toys for all ages. The house is very well maintained and has a huge bathroom downstairs with two sinks and a bathtub, a large living room, followed by a reading room and a terrace with comfortable furniture, a parasol and a small lawn. There is also a large sun lounger that you can assemble yourself. There is also a dining room with a large table and a kitchen on the ground floor, which is also easy to move around in. In front of the house there is also a garden with a small playhouse, small slide, sandpit, small trampoline and a large chest full of sand toys and other toys. The rest of the garden belongs to the landlord, but there is still a large, very beautiful wildflower meadow, in which Mrs. Rausch even gave our kids a meadow maze to mow out to explore. And there is also a football field with two goals. You can park in the driveway to unload and then a short distance away on the street. The kitchen is very well equipped and we could have easily used new dishes for three days without washing up. But then you put it in the dishwasher. :) Dishwashing tabs, dishwashing liquid, sponge and drying cloth were also there. When setting up the holiday home, a stovetop had lost out when it came to connecting it, but you can also cook well on three stovetops, and we were warned by the landlords.A beautiful wooden spiral staircase invites you to the upper floor. Here there is a more than spacious master bedroom, to the left of it a teenager's room with a CD player (great for bedtime CDs!) and its own balcony with a clothes rack, to the right a small shower room with washing machine, laundry tub (also great for bathing toddlers in the garden) and washing powder, and on the far right a large children's room with a single bed, baby bed, changing table and diaper pail, rocking chair and a small children's seating area. There was also a large closet with toys suitable for small children. All the kids were delighted with the equipment, and the little one was particularly fond of the ladybird mobile. It was so great that everything was there! You could just arrive and feel comfortable and then at some point buy supplies. The Rauschs also made it very easy for us to feel good. We were warmly welcomed and whenever we had a question or request, they were immediately there to offer advice and support and showed us great hospitality. We were very happy about the barbecue together and the trip to the outdoor pool.Since we always like to see something new on vacation, we unfortunately won't be coming back. But we have already diligently distributed the flyer for the holiday home among our friends and can highly recommend staying here.Thank you for the wonderfully relaxing holidays with you, they were exactly the right thing! Many kind regards fromMartin and Gabi with S., C. and B. from Würzburger Land
