If you're expecting super tasty cookies and good coffee, this is the place for you. This cozy cafe had a good reputation decades ago. This is continued by the great ambience, great offers and friendly staff. We'll be back there soon!!!!November 2nd, 2024: We were here again and the impression hasn't changed. Everything all around very satisfactory. Simply combine a wonderful autumn walk with a stop here.

I can't say anything about the guesthouse but about the café. We were there a few weeks ago but absolutely cannot recommend it. Apart from the fact that we were basically ignored by the two waitresses, the water we ordered was brought afterwards, but the others waited in vain for their hot drinks. In addition, guests who arrived significantly later were served much more quickly. It was busy and I can understand why it took longer, but we felt unwanted and ignored here. We were then grumbled at in an unfriendly manner by one of the waitresses when we complained in a friendly and factual manner. In the end we left after about an hour because up to that point there was nothing we had ordered apart from the water. Conclusion: Once and never again.

We stayed in the beaver's nest as part of our bike tour. We were warmly welcomed. The room was small but soooo cozy. Everything was super clean and the bed linen smelled subtly fresh, so we immediately felt very comfortable. Unfortunately, we arrived too late to enjoy the much-praised Plinsen. Maybe next time...

A clean, albeit tiny, room for 2 adults. However, what disturbs your night's sleep is the cooling system in the kitchen below, which comes on every half hour!We received a friendly welcome from the staff. Unfortunately, there was no reference to requests for a change of towels and could no longer be presented to the staff due to the following 2 days of rest.
