The three of us spent ten nights in this hotel in two rooms and can only warmly recommend that if we go on vacation to Mittenwald again then only this hotel is very centrally located and a good starting point in all directions

We were looking for a parking spot today. These are VERY rarely available in Mittenwald. We turned into this street with our car and saw that there were still parking spaces available on this street. There was only 1 sign placed between the bushes saying "reserved". We neatly released them. It was not at all visible that those places belonged to the hotel. When we came back after an afternoon in Mittenwald, there was someone from the staff who spoke to us very humiliatingly about how they were private places. We tried to have a normal conversation (and that it was not our intention at all) but in the end we were just "those Dutch", and walked away rudely when we wanted to apologize. He further ordered us snarlingly that we had to leave in 10 minutes. As if we were his dogs. That's how it came across.So my impression is that as a Dutch person you are looked at with an inferior look, because this gentleman made that very clear.So I would never go to this hotel because it is not possible to have a normal conversation with the person about a mistake.

Don't understand the reviews. Monotonous breakfast, always the same. When things are gone, there is no refilling.Would you like to have breakfast on the terrace when the weather is good? Where from? Always in the same breakfast room! It's work.More than one boiled egg? Where from? Let's not do it!Complaints (constant smoking of weed on the neighboring balconies) are not addressed. It moves into every room and “helps you fall asleep”.Room okay, bathroom renovated. At least that corresponded to 3 stars.Charging an electric car?Ask and hope that the owner drives away his car and gives you the key for the wallbox. There are completely different systems without running back and forth and hoping that someone is there and the parking space is free. Of course, the owner isn't always there.Not again for me. I'd be happy to spend more money there.

Spent a long weekend in Mittenwald about 2 weeks ago. We had booked a double room in the Franziska guesthouse. The room was very nice, new bathroom and we had a balcony with a view of the Wetterstein and Kranzberg. Everything very clean. The breakfast offers everything you need to start the day. The hosts and service are very friendly and helpful. Parking spaces directly at the house, WiFi works perfectly. There are 2-3 restaurants in the immediate area. We can highly recommend the Postkeller. The guest house is an ideal place for a holiday in Mittenwald. We would love to come back.

We were there for the sixth time and felt welcome straight away.The breakfast is plentiful and the lady is always friendly.We also found the option of using the sauna after a mountain tour was great, even if you had to pay a small extra charge per person!We cannot understand the criticism from some!We will definitely come back 😉

Very friendly run guesthouse. The staff is very attentive and friendly.The breakfast service leaves nothing to be desired and there is something for everyone.The rooms are very clean and comfortably furnished. We were very happy with our choice and would recommend the guesthouse at any time.

Lovely hotel with spacious rooms that are all very clean. The location is excellent on a main road and close to all amenities and the center of Mittenwald. The view is great. The breakfast was well prepared and had a wide choice and the staff was very friendly! All in all highly recommended!

We were there for the third time. Reception is always TOP, rooms are extremely clean and very well equipped including minibar. Breakfast is always GREAT, all fresh fruit. Otherwise everything is available in plenty of quantity and quality. The lady from breakfast service tried very hard and left nothing to be desired. The entire team deserves 5 stars. We always like to come there to relax and experience Mittenwald. BEST THANKS FROM THE RZ TEAM. 👍👌🔝

Well, we were there for one night after staying in Mittenwald for a week for exactly the same price, much better and only 500m away, but unfortunately had to move because of the end of the season. Better view... of the Karwendel... A much better buffet at breakfast... Better room in terms of space and standard. Floor-length windows... Stylish bathroom... A small bottle of grape liqueur to check out and after two days an email thanking you for your stay! But that's more of a review for the Landhaus S****bichel...And then these service experiences:I'm the last guest sitting in the breakfast room at 11 p.m. and reading... The senior manager comes in to get a probably ice-cold coffee from the buffet that's been there since 3 p.m.... And asks me if I need full lighting in the room would.... Of course not, but it would be more pleasant as a guest! And then he turns off half the lights.... Hmmm?!The next morning check out:At 10:10 a.m., when I wanted to pay, the junior manager pointed out to me that check-out was at 10:00 a.m.! And that even though breakfast is scheduled until 10 a.m. Without words!He simply had other priorities! We hadn't left yet when he was already on his scooter and gone.Nobody understood anything. To scare away a guest forever because of 10 minutes!? What if he asks for the bill!?In Mittenwald you can get significantly better service, better ambience and much more customer focus for the same money or less.P. S: Overall, the hotel is a bit out of date. 1000 euros to replace the exposed concrete slabs from 1968 on the terrace in front of the breakfast room would be, for example. bwell invested. At least the bathrooms have been renovated, albeit very small.

Very nice hotel towards the southern exit of Mittenwald. Must be recommended. During the day when the weather is nice, when the senior rockers on their Harleys are unleashed in a pack towards the south on Innsbrucker Straße, it can get a bit loud on the street-side balconies. But what the heck. During the day you can go hiking on the many great paths nearby and in the evening you can fortify yourself in the Postbräu across the street.
