Great location with a great view of the Karwendel. The landlords are very nice and give good tips. However, the holiday apartment is poorly furnished: old and worn-out furniture, very little crockery and cutlery, the cheapest kitchen technology. If the location wasn't so great and you didn't travel so much on vacation, I wouldn't recommend the guesthouse.

The highly praised breakfast (in other reviews) was basically okay. However, when I'm on vacation (Mittenwald has many bakeries with very good bread rolls), I don't want to have baked rolls for breakfast EVERY day. This was also a first for us (see impressions of the room). After the first overnight stay from Saturday to Sunday I didn't think anything of it - you can do the baking rolls on Sunday. But every day was really not what we wanted! Coffee is of course a matter of taste, our preference was not for preparing it in a coffee maker. A Bavarian filter coffee tastes good. much better. Oh yes, as already described in another review, there was also a fully automatic coffee machine available. For hygienic reasons (see cleanliness in the rooms and the kitchen) we agreed not to brew coffee!After three days, we accidentally found out after asking that we could take fresh towels from a cupboard (there was a note on this cupboard that a fresh set would cost €3) - since we had several overnight stays, this was free for us. But as described: "After we asked" - I write SERVICE differently with such contexts.The garden actually has nice seating options. Nothing is cleaned here, nothing is swept and even seat cushions that were wet from the rain are not dried, so the woodlice have already gathered under the seat cushions.With this description I really don't want to give the impression that you can't please me. Anyone who takes a look at my recessions will quickly notice that the negative recessions are the absolute minority. They also take considerably longer than a positive review. It's just that I'm of the opinion (that's why I'm investing the time) that such conditions should be described. We also took photos - at the moment I'm refraining from publishing them.No matter what your requirements are - the price of this accommodation is clearly too high!! Therefore my recommendation: Better look for something else!

Completely overpriced room, rather dingy in terms of hygiene, hair on the toilet seat and towel rack, very outdated, stains on the wall and on the processes, dirty tablecloth and crumbs on and under the table, even though we were the first ones. Big long-haired dog sits on the chair in the kitchen where breakfast is prepared.There is no relationship between price and performance.Overall, everything seems unprofessional.

The guesthouse provided a nice and quiet room for us. Unfortunately there were no towels from the house. But the minibar in the hallway can tear out everything. Well-chilled alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. And at a very good price too! In the morning you can make your first coffee from the coffee machine and wait for breakfast. We were satisfied with our stay and would like to come back

Everything was set up super cute. There were two of us with two dogs. The breakfast was sooooooo lovingly served and prepared. A warm host. We were thrilled. Everything we wanted to visit in two days was within walking distance. We will be back :-)

an older house, very pretty and quaint from the outside. The host tries very hard and prepares a nice breakfast every day (standard selection, rolls, bread, fruit, cheese, sausage, egg on request, coffee, juice, tea)Everything else costs extra so that the final bill will be more than the originally proposed price. The furnishings in our room were very outdated, cobwebs here and there, stained, torn curtains; You could do a lot of nice things here. Our room had a balcony, the location was very nice; Unfortunately the toilet window from the neighboring room opens to the balcony, you can hear and smell it too🙈🙈had to one evening. we clear the field early because of the smell.On the balcony there is a sofa with pretty old fur as a cover, which didn't look so nice (dead bugs), you get towels for your stay, all others cost €3 each. The waste basket has not been emptied in 4 daysWe barely fit in the toilet, it's pretty small, but at least in the roomThe shower in the bathroom was large and relatively new.All in all, the stay was okay, you shouldn't expect anything great, but the location is wonderful, it's quiet and it's only a few minutes' walk to the town center

The three of us (2x adults, 1x toddler) had a large room on the ground floor. Unfortunately, the toilet and shower are each in a separate room, which can only be accessed via the hallway, i.e. where other guests can also move in the worst case scenario. The beds squeaked, which is rather unfavorable for families.Unfortunately all the parking spaces were full, but the boss drove away especially for us, which was very friendly.The breakfast was very cute and nicely designed, was also completely sufficient and very tasty.What's remarkable is that the friendly man there seems to do everything by himself - hats off to him!For us it was ideally located on the way to Lake Garda as an overnight stop.

We received a very warm, open and friendly welcome from David Johnston.The house is quaint and simply cozy. There is something to discover everywhere. And always music in the background.The room was small, but clean, fresh and in tip top condition - although in need of renovation. But at night all the rooms are gray and the balcony doors are closed.The breakfast was just fantastic. Freshly brewed coffee, warm milk foam served separately, rolls fresh from the bakery, well-mixed cold cuts and cheese platter with fresh salad and last but not least a bowl of freshly chopped fruit for everyone. And the Beatles in the background ;-)We enjoyed it and look forward to seeing you again!

We have been coming to Pension Karna in Mittenwald for yearsChristmas Market.Mittenwald is a cozy town with cozy restaurants.Pension Klarna is located5 minutes from the city center.The Christmas market is still a real Christmas market, whereClubs are equipped with handcraftedCarvings, jamsetc.It's worth going to Mittenwald.Even in summer and winter, in the beautiful onesMountains.

I stayed at this same place in October.. This was my favorite place I stayed in my trip through Germany, Switzerland and Austria.. Breakfast was great, and David was a good host.. I recommend staying here..
