We were there from Friday May 10th. - 05/12/2024.So one star is already very generous. We booked through the Wernigerode Tourist Information. The price was okay. We thought that was all settled. Even during the preparatory phone call with the landlady, there was no mention of any additional costs. It wasn't until we arrived that we were a little surprised. Suddenly we had to pay an extra €15.00 for the final cleaning after two nights.Ok, we were no longer able to cancel the accommodation there and look for something else, so we stayed anyway.Our problem was that after a closer inspection of the accommodation, we then had to carry out the final cleaning for the previous tenants ourselves. Not only was the coffee machine/filter cup completely greasy with residue from previous coffee brewers, but the rest of the cleanliness also left a lot to be desired for a €15 final cleaning fee.The toilet drain was very gray in the lower area. A little Domestos/Meister Propper would work wonders.Otherwise you shouldn't look so much into the nooks and crannies. It was just, as we say in our pot, “roughly over”.However, this is very insufficient for the final cleaning surcharge.However, it should be noted that the towels were changed after the first day of use. Although we had hung them on the appropriate holder for further use.In addition, we noticed that the landlady entered the entire apartment without prior consultation and obviously checked it while we were away.This is an absolute “NO GO”!!!!!For me - never again!!!

The house is not suitable for rental. The kitchen only has a 2 burner gas stove. The living/dining room only contains a coffee table where you also eat, sitting on a 2-seater sofa
