Price performance very good, everything is a bit old but absolutely fair and clean.

12 years ago, I was a guest of the Mutz family for the first time and have been there almost every year since then. I like to travel to the theme parks and always make sure that I get a good price-performance ratio, because you have to be able to afford the prices for entry to the parks. Mr. Mutz runs his guesthouse as a small bed and breakfast where you don't have to dig deep into your pockets. You can stay in beautifully furnished double or quadruple bedrooms (some with a balcony) not far from Europa-Park. Each room is equipped with a double bed (or double bed + 2 single beds or double bed + bunk bed in the 4-bedroom) and also has a television, a wardrobe and bedside lamps on the beds. It's only 10 minutes by car from there. Even Ringsheim train station (regional trains and the Europa-Park shuttle bus stop here) can be reached in 15 minutes on foot. A small supermarket can also be reached in 10 minutes and the town offers a few restaurants. At the Mutz guest house it must be said that the room does not have its own bathroom, but rather a guest toilet and a shower room with a bathtub, shower and toilet are shared with the other guests on one floor, which means there are always 2 toilets on each floor A maximum of 4 parties are available, which has never led to any problems. We've never had to complain about noise because the house is on a quiet side street and the other guests have always kept quiet at night. If you book breakfast, you will receive a small selection of bread rolls, coffee, tea, cocoa, juice and milk, as well as various cold cuts, jams, nut nougat cream and yoghurt in the breakfast room. The times for breakfast depend on the number of guests in the house and will be agreed upon with Mr. Mutz upon arrival.Important note on the subject of security: The farm gate is usually locked, so that normally no strangers can stay on the premises; the house and the individual floors have separate keys. The rooms can be locked and the keys can be taken with you for the duration of your stay. The bathrooms can also be locked. Mr. Mutz looks after the rooms once a day, empties the trash cans and makes the beds.All in all, a stay there is essential for me when I visit Europa-Park, as it feels like coming home due to the long-standing connection to the house and the Mutz familyWe would be happy to come back next year!
