We received a very friendly welcome, the campsite is apparently very humid in autumn. It is close to a motorway and also under the airport's flight path, so you have to be able to live with the noise. No WiFi and very basic facilities. The showers are included and pleasantly warm. This place is OK for a stopover.

Ok for one night, the sanitary facilities are pretty run down in place B, we had booked A and were still accommodated there even though everything was free. The place is quite muddy, so you have to watch where you stand. Right on the highway and in a flight path, pretty loud at night. Restaurant was closed because there wasn't enough going on, a shame if you had planned your dinner there.

The place is very cozy, right on the lake, large meadows to linger and a good location. Unfortunately the sanitary facilities are a disaster!!! We stayed here for one night in the low season. I'm sure I haven't had anything cleaned here for a few weeks. Be it the washing up station, the showers that are moldy or the toilet container that houses spider webs and other animals.Every festival we have attended so far, the sanitary facilities have been cleaner! Price/performance ratio definitely not okay.Very unfortunate...

One star is still too much!We have never had such a rude reception in the more than 40 years that we have been camping. The navigation sent us in the wrong direction. After driving for miles on a road of basalt boulders (cobblestones) from the other side, we arrived at the campsite. There was no one there except two hikers with backpacks. I stop in front of the gate and get out. A window opens at the reception and a man asks if he can help us. I say we would like to spend the night. Then I first have to put the car/caravan away because no one can pass by. I turn around and see no one. I ask why, who? Nothing to do with it, that's what it says on the sign. There is no sign from the direction we came from and I indicate that. Nothing to do with it, the way must be clear. I just drive backwards with my car and caravan. I want to get out again, my wife says, get out, I don't want to stand here anymore. This will be on our blacklist. We drove on to Camping Springhorstsee, where we received a friendly welcome.

Went on vacation for a week, site A is littered with holes and deep lanes, the lawn isn't mowed, and the toilet facilities are fine.

The campsite is spacious - with a beautiful lake as the centerpiece, restaurants with outdoor dining and mini golf. The pitches are not parceled out and are well supplied with electricity. Sanitary facilities are very simple and set up in a container design. Unfortunately, sinks for cleaning hands and washing dishes at the same time are not up to date. The aircraft noise (from Hannover Airport's approach path) shouldn't bother you either. What was praiseworthy, however, was the well-kept lawn, the good food and the service from the staff, who felt like they were constantly shuttling between reception and hospitality - and didn't lose their friendliness. In short: a large and beautifully landscaped place that could use a bold investment in terms of sanitation and whose staff I would like to give a little more support. But we don't want to complain and we were satisfied considering the costs.
