We ended up here by accident without reading the reviews. Unfortunately, we have to 100 percent confirm the negative experiences of other guests. It's the boarding house of horror.

Warm, but a hygienic disaster!The owner is a warm, nice guy. That's why I'm sorry that I can't write a good review. But I want to save other travelers from this disappointment.It's completely run down, there are things everywhere so you can hardly get into the house. Everything is full of cobwebs and the carpets are dirty.The worst thing, however, is the bathroom. I have never experienced anything like it. The toilet is dirty and the tub looks bad too. We even bought water to brush our teeth.Please do not book here. Better to buy a tent for €60.

Definitely avoid accommodation. Extremely dirty, run down and neglected accommodation. Cobwebs everywhere, dirty, torn bedding, filthy bathroom. Breakfast is not offered, but you wouldn't want to eat anything there. Price-performance in an indescribably blatant disproportion. The host may be an original, but is just as neglected as his house. He immediately charges you the price of the room, otherwise he would never see any money. How this accommodation can be listed in the Weser-Bikeline is a mystery to us.

You have to like an old house like this, with its creaking floorboards and ancient furnishings. If you love the sterility of a modern hotel chain, this is the wrong place for you. For everyone else it's an experience!

Danger ! This "pension", formerly an adornment of Nienburg, is at best only for lovers of a run-down Hornzie (Saxon for old run-down house).

Attention, don't book, photos on the internet don't correspond to reality, the dirtiest "doss house" I've ever experienced, it was disgusting, musty, dirty, the bathroom was tiny, gave the impression that it hadn't been cleaned for years, I I was glad that there was no breakfast as offered on the internet, one star is still too high

Even no star is too many. This accommodation is just unclean. The bathroom cannot be used because it is completely dirty. It may rightly bear the title “Oldest House in Nienburg”...Not recommended

Rustic accommodation with character...The owner is a real gem and in a great mood...if you want to be able to eat off the ground, this is definitely not the place for you, but I still recommend it, anyone with a sense of nostalgia will appreciate it even more. Despite a few dust bunnies, we were super satisfied.

Unfortunately we were there for one night, on the Weser cycle path.The outside of the house is really cute, even if it's a bit run down.The rooms are tastelessly furnished and resemble a storage room for second-hand furniture.The so-called bathroom is in the hallway and must be used by two rooms. It's completely too small.There hasn't been any cleaning here for a long time.The roof terrace is completely overgrown and can hardly be used anymore; nothing has been cleaned or maintained here for a long time.This dirty ambience extends to the so-called breakfast room, where you can also find more voles and spider webs than create a pleasant atmosphere.The price/performance ratio is not right here at all.It's a shame about this beautiful old house,With a little craftsmanship, attention to detail and thorough cleaning you could really do something nice here.But that's clearly a no-go

A must on the Weser cycle path. The landlord is a great guy - warm, intelligent and with the right heart - and the guesthouse is really something very special.

Caution is advised here. People exchange ideas on the Weser cycle path. And we often received the message not to spend the night there. The outside of the house is indeed historical, as is the inside, but it is not inviting. Unfortunately we didn't spend the night there.

The ambience alone is worth the five stars! And then this host! A real original that is rarely found anymore. For me it was a highlight of our bike tour!
