2024_0907: Thanks to the KulinarisCard 2024 we got to know the restaurant “Am Vogelsang”. Very nice service staff, great menu, very good food and very good portions. What more could you want? We'd love to come back. We had salmon fillet in white wine sauce with broccoli and boiled potatoes and tagliatelle with salmon tossed in a lemon and white wine sauce with diced salmon and cherry tomatoes. Really delicious.2024_1025: Another wonderful meal in the restaurant “Am Vogelsang”. This time we were hungry for schnitzel specialties. There was a Camembert schnitzel with cranberries and a Krüstchen (schnitzel with asparagus) gratinated with cheese. For dessert we chose raspberry cream puffs. It was a very nice evening, the service staff is very nice, nothing was missing. Thank you. Repeat factor 100%

Christmas party with colleagues. Food was good. Starters, main courses and also the dessert were well prepared. Good selection of drinks. Friendly staff. All in all a successful evening. I'm coming here again with my husband.I can't say anything about the rooms.Updated August 3, 2024The quality of the food has decreased significantly. Steaks were dry fried and the Mediterranean vegetables were burnt. The side salad was very small. Special order was simply forgotten and only delivered upon request when the meal was already finished. Groups of 15 or more receive a slimmed-down menu. I seriously wonder why?! And you can only pay in cash for less than €100. I also ask myself why?!Goat cheese was out, but other tables could order it later. We did some quick shopping there. It could have been done earlier.One person in our family would have liked liver. It wasn't possible because we had a slimmed-down menu.But staff was still friendly.

The reason for the visit was not something you would want. But I will give the Hotel am Vogelsang a 5 star rating. Wednesday is actually a day of rest here. But they were still open to welcome us. Of course not for a few guests but to end my father's funeral here. The staff was very attentive and accommodating. It left nothing to be desired. You even had the opportunity to use the outdoor dining area. In my opinion, I can highly recommend the hotel. Even on nicer occasions.

I've been coming to this hotel for years, although changes have been made several times, the character of the house has hardly changed. The service staff were extremely friendly and attentive. The breakfast was good and sufficient.

I haven't eaten there for a long time, but it was always very good, so I went back and........it wasn't as good anymore. Meat wasn't the best quality, the cooking point wasn't always right and the portions were clear, the small salad bowl was only half full and it wasn't even tasty. Unanimous opinion at the table, there is still a lot of room for improvement here.But I would like to highlight the friendly staff who were very accommodating if you had any questions.

I have to make a statement about Stefanie K. here!We happened to be there by chance.The waitress explained in a nice and friendly manner that a children's plate was not a main course. Everyone knows that only the two cheapest dishes are deducted.Well, some people just have to spread lies when things don't go their way.Quite a slander!I've never had a bad experience here! Food always fresh and good!Sorry, couldn't leave these lies uncommented

Sufficiently large and functionally furnished room, modern bathroom and soundproof windows.Simple but sufficient breakfast.Good public transport connections, buses in front of the door, SBahn in 10 minutes on foot.

We stayed at the hotel for one night. The rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. The breakfast is quite excellent for the price. A parking space is available directly at the property.

Lovingly designed, owner-managed hotel, a great venue for family/company celebrations. Can be used indoors and outdoors. Great cuisine, regional specialties and great brunch offers. Ms. Gellert is a great help with planning and decoration, and she also offers appointments in the morning for funeral services. Further information and pictures can be found on the homepage.
