We had booked the Schwarzwaldstübchen via the driveway. It was great. Beautiful little apartment in the Black Forest, hearty breakfast and extremely nice hosts. A bit remote, but more nature and peace. We would come again.

I was up here for two weeks on business and was allowed to stay overnight in the Ketterer house during this time. The guesthouse is simply cozy and clean! The surroundings are simply fantastic and the breakfast is prepared with love. All in all it was a really nice stay 🫶🏼 Thank you again 🫶🏼

Super Unterkunft! All ist da! Natur in der Nähe, Thermen auch. Selbst die "Wohnung" hat alles notigen. Wirklich alles! Bin total begeistert. Und die Gastgebern sind total nett und freundlich. Parking ist auch dabei. Prei ist super für das Ganze. Kann ich wirklich empfehlen!I really liked it here - the nature, my favorite thermal baths nearby.The apartment has everything you need - cutlery, towels, dishes. The price is more than budget! The owners are very nice! I recommend it to everyone!

I inquired at fairly short notice and had very friendly contact on the phone. We wanted to go to the bathing paradise in Titisee, which is just 10 minutes away, so an ideal location. We were welcomed very friendly. Small, lovingly furnished apartment with cooking facilities, very quiet. In the morning we received a delicious, rich breakfast. Ms. Ketterer also recommended a restaurant for dinner and called and reserved a table for us.All in all, I can highly recommend the Ketterer guesthouse. We can very well imagine coming here again.Thank you very much!

Very nice place to stay! Haus Ketterer is beautifully situated in the village of Waldau, right next to the forest from which various walks can be put together. Titisee-Neustadt with all amenities can be reached in less than 10 minutes and other worthwhile places in the Black Forest can also be reached in 30 minutes. The house itself is fantastically furnished. Everything you could wish for is there, and then some. From hand blender to wire brush! The design is pleasant, you are not on top of each other. The bathroom and kitchen are neat. Plenty of towels are provided. We could also order sandwiches every morning, which were left at the door and with which we even received homemade jam twice. Another plus is that even though it was 30+ degrees outside when we were there, the house always remained very cool, it was really wonderful to be there. I can highly recommend Haus Ketterer.

During our vacation in April 2022, we were very happy to return to Haus Ketterer in Waldau, where we had already spent a lovely time a few years before. The Ketterer family is very friendly and helpful and the holiday apartment is very well maintained, clean and attractive - ideal for a family of four. The price-performance ratio is also good. All in all a very harmonious atmosphere. The location is also great: Waldau is close to Titisee-Neustadt and it is not far to Feldberg and Freiburg. We will definitely ask the Ketterers again on our next vacation in the Black Forest.

Very nice welcome upon arrival. Nice accommodation and rich breakfast at a very good price. There are enough opportunities for hiking or cross-country skiing in the area.

I haven't stayed there yet, but I didn't understand the response to my request at all.You can answer normally. Also that I wrote an error (instead of 3 I wrote 2).I have never received such rude feedback.There are hotels where the child is allowed to sleep in the parents' bed. We already had experience with this in a few 4-star hotels. That's why my question was. Instead of answering normally, I only received scolding.Luckily there are many alternatives at Titisee.

I traveled to this very special part of germany. We has decided to only stay in “post” hotels which was wonderful. We stayed for 3 days and Hans gave me the recipe for his beef curry soup made with filet. I had it 3 times. …

We stayed with the Ketterer family for 2 nights and felt very comfortable. The holiday apartment is clean and well maintained and furnished with great attention to detail. The breakfast in the morning, which we were able to book for €8 per person, is highly recommended. If you book 2 nights or more, you will also receive the Hochschwarzwaldkarte free of charge, with which you can save a lot of money on activities around the Hochschwarzwald. We'll definitely be back :-) Thanks to the Ketterer family for the pleasant stay ❤
