I went to a workshop at the Antoniushütte. The food was very tasty and the people there were very nice and in a good mood. The rooms are quite old, but very large. Has something rustic about it. There doesn't seem to be much going on in the place. If you're up for hiking, you'll definitely be in good hands there. The hotel itself also offers some programs. But I wasn't able to take advantage of any of it due to lack of time. It's ok for seminars and things like that. For me it's not a good idea to go on vacation.

Small, often expanded, hotel with good cuisine in a small town near Menden. It is apparently used as a seminar location for companies. We were housed in the annex in the rectory, which exudes the charm of the 1990s and is clean and tidy apart from the shower partition seals that need to be changed every now and then. Unfortunately the room smelled a bit like cigarette smoke. On the second evening we (we were house guests) didn't get a seat in the restaurant, even though there were enough seats available. Maybe a lack of staff!? Still, that's not possible because it's a pretty small place. There should always be an option for a small meal for two people! Nothing like that happens in Austria. The landscape around is beautiful, especially in autumn.

A great hotel, clean, modern rooms, staff very nice. Restaurant was great and the breakfast was also rich. I'll be back next time I'm in the area.

We are allowed to celebrate our wedding on July 27th, 2024 in a small circle in the Antonius room, the other breakfast room. The evening was great, the room was beautiful and Ms. Spiekermann and her lovely catering staff made our evening so sweet. All guests immediately felt so comfortable and well looked after and everything was taken care of.Our arrangement even included wedding cake and a midnight snack and we enjoyed every second. The night in the main house and the adjoining rectory for our guests was lovely and the rooms were very comfortably furnished. At the end there was a breakfast together with the remaining wedding guests, there was also something delicious to eat for everyone and there was also good coffee after a short night.A big thank you for the great organization, the lovely and very courteous hospitality and an unforgettable evening for us.

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio here is not right at all. We ate there and the prices were completely overpriced for what you get. A potato soup that costs over €10 should have more than 100 ml. The rooms are very large and clean, but the furnishings are from the 90s. Here too, the price-performance ratio is not right at all. It's a shame that there is no information anywhere that there are an extremely large number of stairs in this house or houses. All of this without an elevator is extremely difficult for people with walking difficulties.

We were here for dinner and can therefore only rate this:The food was delicious, the staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was great.Only the portions (side dishes such as fried potatoes) are very, very small and unreasonably expensive. That doesn't have to be the case and hence the 1 star deduction.
