Very nice, rustic mountain inn in Alpine style. The food is excellent and tastes very good. The portions are large so that everyone gets full.The only point of criticism is that an additional 2.00 euros is charged for menu changes or side dish changes. This is not up to date.10/2024: Unfortunately the inn has changed for the worse since my last visit. Cheese spaetzle was ordered for 3 people. However, the portion was designed for 2. Price-performance no longer excellent.

I like to eat very well. Michelin-starred cuisine to simple Berlin corner pubs, clear Northern German country inns or nice little discoveries in Italy - somewhere in the middle of nowhere. I love good food and good service, in short: when you feel welcome, taken seriously, treated well and served excellently.Not only was all of this fulfilled at the Berggasthaus Haldenhof, it was - I'm not exaggerating - one of the best evenings I've ever had in a German restaurant. Even met nice new people, had a good chat... It couldn't have been nicer with you. Absolutely excellent, incredibly nice service, great warm hospitality, a full and lively restaurant, great food and absolutely absurd portions. That's exactly how it should be!Next time I'll come even better prepared: even more hungry, even more thirsty and even more time!Thanks!!!

I have visited the restaurant several times in different groups. The food is very very tasty. Unfortunately, we were insulted several times by a certain service person. We also noticed at neighboring tables that other guests were being insulted. The last visit was the height of disrespectful and hurtful behavior, so we decided not to visit the restaurant again, despite the fantastic food and wonderful location. By the way, the other service staff were great.

I just ate a small Kaiserschmarrn and was very satisfiedUnfortunately I had to sit inside because everything outside was full (you can't do anything)I have the utmost respect for the serviceFull house, everything on the run and still friendly. I would give up on a day like that at work. So hats off
