Located near the highway. Good for overnight stays if you want to go south or back. Therefore there is also traffic noise from 5 a.m. onwards.The place is inconspicuous. However, there is an interesting fortified church.Unfortunately, our room was not one of those shown on the homepage, but rather an unrenovated room with carpeted floors (yuck) and old furnishings. The bathroom is small and old. Unfortunately we had to pay the same price as the renovated rooms.Overall the room was well maintained and clean.Service was attentive and friendly.Dining room typically Alpine, comfortably furnished. The game plate was okay, the red cabbage was very good, there was sauce and people asked if everything was sufficient. The wine was very good.The highlight of the stay was the breakfast: very varied and good. Top.

I can only rate the beer garden.The service was very committed and friendly, but too few staff.Unfortunately, I was really irritated.The "Schäuferle", which had just been finished, was so dry and fibrous that I needed a sip of beer with every bite. The menu said "700g". We were then told that that was the raw weight. But it was a normal portion of meateverywhere, so misleading. The sauce was little and thick, the dumplings were 2, but about 5 cm tall at most. The sauerkraut that was served separately was spread 1cm high on a saucer and was lukewarm and had so much (30%!) caraway that the can must have slipped.I have to say, for €21.80 it doesn't work. I've eaten better with you.It is clear to me that the guests of the Krebs, which is closed during the day, now have to be looked after. So the competition has eliminated itself.But that shouldn't lead to price increases and loveless cooking.

Here we take a break during our bike ride along the Altmühl.Genoten van het Brotzeitbrettl(Smoked ham, homemade sausage,Cold roast, cheese, pickle and egg,with Kindinger country bread and butter) it was delicious.

We were very disappointed with the Fleischpfanderl last night. The pork loin was tough and dry, the sauce was tasteless and watery and lukewarm.The beer is not cold and refreshing for the season.At the end a lukewarm espresso was served.It's also a shame that the candles were on the serving trolley and not on the tables.

For the first time in 34 years I planned an overnight stay on my holiday trip from Cologne to Carinthia. I always wanted to go to the Altmühltal, the right decision was the Hotel Krone in Kinding. Rustic Bavarian, top rooms, tasty food, very friendly service, I have already booked for the return trip and will definitely spend a mountain bike holiday here in the future.

Restaurant. Quality varies greatly. Ate cheese spaetzle twice within 5 days, once good with cheese as it should be, once it was more of a cream sauce. Main courses were not eaten at the same time and were 10 minutes apart. Oh well.Otherwise the ambience is nice.

We were there on his Saturday afternoon and are very disappointed.We had a snack board and a Swiss sausage salad. The sausage salad was absolutely disappointing. The sausage itself tasted like almost nothing. The cheese was a grated cheese from the package and also totally tasteless. And all of this for a proud price of €12.20!We were definitely here twice, the first and last time!
