Villa Seestern is beautiful, romantic, magically decorated, especially in the reception area, and has incredibly warm hosts! I was already impressed by the warmth on the phone when I booked, but it was also completely confirmed or even exceeded on site. My dog was welcomed just as warmly as I was! Everything fits, the single room fulfills all your wishes and is clean and the breakfast tastes great! I'm incredibly excited about this sweet island and although I never say it because I'd rather never go to one place twice, I'm sure I'll come back here a few more times.

My wife and I stayed in this guesthouse from April 6th to 10th and fell in love with this accommodation from the first moment. When we met the hostess, we were completely thrilled. We really had a wonderful time on the island and in the guesthouse. We will definitely book the guesthouse again.

A pretty villa right in the heart of Juist. The guesthouse is run with a lot of heart and attention to detail. Hospitality is still very important here without it seeming to be fake.The breakfast left nothing to be desired 😊.If we come back to Juist then Pension Villa Seestern will be our first choice!

As an absolute holiday person, just tried it...and...found a second home♥️Small, nice rooms, clean and lovingly furnished. Even our dog's every wish was fulfilled. If you just like a “arrival vacation” but don’t need fancy, you won’t find anything better. The breakfast (no matter when you want to get up) is rich, with always fresh coffee and fresh goods. Central and everything is easily accessible. Going back next week🙏♥️HOLIDAY!!!!

First impression on the internet... hmmm, doesn't look nice. 🤨Previous reviews:Not stunning or not appealing.Shower in the basement? Shared toilet?So I picked up the phone and asked several times… YES, we have a shower and toilet IN the room!I was really very skeptical (see above).When we arrived we saw a small, cute, typical Juist house from the outside.We entered the entrance and... WOW: This looks nothing like the older pictures - modern with a touch of oldskool decor here and there.The housekeeper welcomed us very friendly and is always eager to fulfill every possible wish.Our room is small but nice.Everything you need is there, clean bed, comfortable mattress, sink, shower, toilet (ok, you can get by, a little more space for the shower/wall in our room wouldn't be a bad thing)A typical Juist house🥰Our son said the most important thing: Dad, not a 5-star hotel - but look, no dust on the closet or anywhere else.Everything you need is available at breakfast. If you need or want more, you just have to book a one or two star hotel + pay MORE.💶Location is perfect - right in the village center of Juist and everything is within walking distance.My family and I immediately fell in love with this guesthouse. An absolute insider tip for us!!!❗️❗️❗️So that there are no misunderstandings, this is not a courtesy review.But this guesthouse deserves a current review, with current pictures and no previous impressions from before!The former owners have died. The house, which is a listed building, is being renovated accordingly.❗️❗️❗️

We spent a great weekend at Villa Seestern. The room was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The landlords were really nice and accommodating. We definitely weren't there for the last time.

2 adults and 2 dogs, stay mid-August 2023.Cozy double room with seating area and bathroom, quiet, clean. Nice seating area in the salon, friendly breakfast situation with buffet and fresh coffee, tea and scrambled eggs.Service was unobtrusive, cheerful, friendly and helpful.We had a great time and a really nice stay at Seestern and are already looking forward to the next time.By the way, the island is also very dog-friendly overall. 😊

The hosts are really extremely friendly, accommodating without ever being intrusive. Even got a helping hand and tools to repair my bike. The rooms have been renovated or are currently being renovated with attention to detail and with an awareness of the historical charm. Everything is clean and well maintained. The breakfast is rich and varied. In short: I will definitely come back and explore this great island from Villa Seestern.

Had a great week on Juist and felt very comfortable in the guesthouse. The hosts and staff are super nice and always have a kind word to say to the guests. There were a number of regulars among the guests. I quickly found a connection and personal contact was established very quickly. The breakfast is rich and any special requests are happy to be fulfilled. The location is perfect, very central and very quiet. Anyone who likes to hear the sounds of the horse-drawn carts gets a piece of nostalgia for free. Had a room upstairs with a nice view of the pedestrian zone. Many rooms have been renovated and everything is very clean. For everyone who likes Juist in its original form, the guesthouse is just right. In addition, there is a real price-performance ratio with a lot of charm, a very personal touch and with an eye on the essentials. All in all, definitely worth a positive recommendation. I would definitely like to come back.

Great stay at Villa Seestern.This was my third time at Villa Seestern. The house has retained its charm, even though improvements and renovations are constantly being carried out. As always, I received a very friendly and personal welcome. My room was very clean and lovingly furnished. Here they have understood how to combine old and modern in a tasteful way. The breakfast buffet was also rich and good. All in all, I can recommend this hotel without hesitation to people who are not looking for the "one-size-fits-all" of the super-modern hotel and guesthouse world but want to enjoy the charm of bygone times in a modern ambience. - I'd love to come back

I had the pleasure of staying here in this guesthouse over the Pentecost weekend. I know the house from “unrenovated” times and have now been here for the fifth time.I was thrilled: super nice operator, very nice renovated rooms including bathroom, unbeatable location, great and lovingly prepared breakfast. And all of this at a relatively affordable price.Simply great!Thank you again.

A historic building with a nautical theme. Very friendly service. The cheapest single room with breakfast is 50 euros. This includes one shower for 3 rooms. Of course, the apartments have their own bathrooms.

Villa Seestern is ideally located for exploring the town, the beach and the Kurhaus on Juist in just a few steps. The house is currently being modernized in several phases (out of season). My single room had a modern bathroom with shower and toilet. The bed was made every day, the shower room was cleaned and fresh towels were provided (if requested).The guesthouse's breakfast buffet offered me a delicious and extensive selection.Evelyn Janzen (house manager) looks after her guests very warmly and courteously. 👍The historic villa is not barrier-free.
