A really great place to stay, we felt very comfortable. The first time we had a small holiday apartment and the second time we treated ourselves to the great new large holiday apartment in the new building.Everything is furnished with a lot of love and the landlords are very warm and friendly.We particularly liked the sauna for ourselves with tea and water.We look forward to seeing you again and to the next weekend with the Schmidtner family.Kind regards, Carmen Sofke

We were able to spend a great week of vacation here and felt very comfortable. The apartment is clean and very nicely decorated. The farm and the family make the holiday perfect. Animals, play barn, playground and lots to see. Thank you for the lovely, relaxing week.

I can't comment on Zimmer because I only ever buy fresh or smoked fish from the Schmidtner family. But the service here is great.

Very nicely located and very nice owners. I can't say anything about the rooms but the fresh and smoked fish is the best around here.

We (2 adults and 1 child) have just spent 2 wonderful weeks at this unique holiday farm and are absolutely thrilled. Let me tell you one thing in advance: we will be back soon!Everything was perfect for us: starting with the accommodation (house), which offered everything you could want for a vacation. Very clean, kitchen equipped with everything you need, comfortable beds, lots of space (usually for 6 people with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms) and especially the huge garden right in front of the house (various loungers including cushions available).The great thing about this very well-kept farm is that all the guests and children met directly in the large garden in front of the house, where we often grilled, among other things. He became the focal point for everyone for two weeks and so we all had dinner together and had great evenings.Here all children can let off steam to their heart's content (and that's what a family holiday is all about!): watching the horses, swinging, sliding, playing in a garden shed, digging in the sandpit and so on. The "children's games dream" is rounded off with a large games room in the yard, which is filled to the brim with various toys: table tennis table, foosball table, bobby cars, Kettcars, wooden horse, outdoor games and so on.Of course, animals shouldn't be missing on a farm like this: our little one loved taking the rabbits from the stable into the outdoor enclosure in the large garden every day and watching the chickens. If you want, you can also take a look at the fish farm and have everything explained in detail.The surrounding area is a true dream and it would take too long to list all the great excursion options around the holiday farm. Biberbach and Beilngries are very well located and you can go on so many great trips within a radius of just 30 to 45 minutes that 2 weeks is definitely too short.Now let's come to what made the vacation so special for us: the two host families. We felt right at home because we became a certain part of the farm for a short time. The very open and friendly nature of the families contributed significantly to this.We would like to thank you again and look forward to the next holiday on your farm in Biberbach!

We don't really like going to the same holiday destination over and over again, but we have to make an exception for the Schmidtnerhof. The hospitality of the Schmidtner family is outstanding and there is always enough on offer on the farm for the children to be well entertained - including other children to play with.

We spent the second week of Pentecost at the Schmidtner holiday farm. We have been to many holiday farms, but this was the most beautiful for us so far. We were allowed to live with our two boys (6 & 4) in holiday apartment II and the grandparents in holiday apartment IV. The apartments were comfortably furnished, sparkling clean and equipped with everything you need; We immediately felt very comfortable. The beds (rather hard) were very comfortable; we slept wonderfully. The entire holiday farm is very well maintained and offers enough space for children to play and explore, as well as opportunities for parents/grandparents to retreat to read a book or drink a cup of coffee in peace. What should be emphasized is the warmth of the host family, who have lived and managed the farm for three generations. There was always someone there if you had questions (or needed fresh fish) without being intrusive. The Altmühltal offers an incredible number of excursion and discovery opportunities with a very good price-performance ratio. Overall, a wonderfully relaxing holiday! An experience for anyone who likes animals and nature - we had a very lovingly furnished house with lots of space, the host family was very nice and easy to get along withWe would like to vacation there again
