Unprofessional, old and dirty are some apt keywords for this "pension"We tried to spend our first family vacation together with children here as a gift for our wedding - unfortunately absolutely nothing!About the accommodation:We were greeted by cold smoke in the entrance area before we knocked on the kitchen to meet the boss, who showed us to our room. Here we found a dirty baby bed, dirty towels and dusty shelves as well as loose wallpaper. The staircase and the shower are partly moldy, but this shouldn't be seen at first glance due to the generally dark atmosphere with 80s furnishings?!The other equipment - such as the high chair for our child - has been destined to be discarded for years... you also hope that it doesn't catch fire, because the fire extinguishers have already expired for years (!!)...I'm attaching a few impressions as photos :-)The food:Unfortunately, there was no offer for our toddler from the breakfast buffet or the "service staff" (that seems to be the owner's untrained woman?). The bakery next door is recommended - that was our first course of the day.Otherwise, the breakfast buffet is always the same, the selection is manageable and characterized by ready-made fruit salad and the cheapest cold cuts.Unfortunately, we were unable to take advantage of the half-board evening meal. The cook - and owner of the house - cannot take intolerances into account because he mostly uses ready-made products and therefore could not rule out the presence of onions in this specific case. In addition, contrary to the website and the description, there are not fish and meat dishes, but fixed days with fish and fixed days with meat dishes. If you don't like fish or meat, you can eat the side dishes (as long as there are no incompatible foods!)?!The service and hospitality:The comment that we didn't like fish was loudly commented on by the "service staff" in the dining room and down the hall to the chef in an extremely negative tone. A subsequent discussion about this behavior was commented on in a very unfriendly manner by the service staff. Even later conversations were always completely unprofessional - here the guest is not king if you don't like him. A clarifying conversation with the owner also didn't produce a word of apology. You can imagine the atmosphere until departure! The invoice is issued on a receipt pad, without the mandatory information on an invoice. The content of this invoice is also incorrect because the trip was booked at a fixed price with a voucher. The unused half board must be deducted from this. However, the owner (who was also booked with...) used the seasonal price as a basis. A conversation brought no result...As you can imagine, there was no farewell on the day of departure. There was simply no one present - apparently people like to hide in the dark and thus avoid professional behavior. So many thanks again to the Tröbinger family for our first family vacation together for the wedding - we will certainly not come back to you.PS: The island of Juist is beautiful! We had a nice rest on the beach, the town and the many restaurants we visited (due to the lack of half board). Next time, spend a little more than the cheapest and take a real guesthouse where guests are welcome...

We have been to the Fähringerhof several times and would be happy to come back at any time. Welcoming hosts, great location, good rooms and absolutely clean. Be sure to book with half board. Here the boss cooks himself and the food is top class! Thanks for the great time on Juist!

The hotel is a bit old but it is clean and well maintained. The breakfast is good and sufficient. The dinner is also good and sufficient. Here the boss cooks personally. If you have any concerns, always ask your boss straight away because she can help.I can only recommend it.

We are still on the way home and would like to leave a review straight away. It was our first time on Juist and if we come here again, only to this guesthouse!! Despite the toilet and shower in the hallway. These were so clinically clean that you sometimes don't find that in a 5 star hotel. Our room was fairly new, the bed was very comfortable, we have rarely slept so well. The breakfast was very fresh and sausages and cheeses varied every morning. A brown bread would have been good. There was even homemade sea buckthorn jam. But the best part was the dinner. Fish weeks!! soooo delicious. With starter, salad plate, main course, dessert. The chef is sooo good. Thanks for the good hospitality!!The price/performance ratio is definitely right here!!We would be happy to come back, stay healthy!

Very familiar and warm-hearted.The dinner was terrific. We looked forward to it all day. We have never eaten better anywhere.Extra requests were taken into account immediately, which was amazing. When we come back to Juist, we will definitely see the Fähringerhof.

The rolls are counted at breakfast. There are no more than two. These are light, not very tasty rolls. The jam is cheap and the sausage is often dry.||||The WiFi didn't work about 50% of the time. …

Extremely unfriendly, hardly any WiFiThe rolls are counted at breakfast. There are no more than two. These are light, not very tasty rolls. The jam is cheap and the sausage is often dry.The WiFi didn't work about 50% of the time. It is a free radio for guests that is susceptible to interference.Only cash is accepted. When you get money from the ATM on the day of your departure, you are told to leave your things behind so that you can be sure that you will come back and pay - and not run away without paying. The rooms must be vacated by ten o'clock, not eleven, as is generally the case. The hotel rules are not posted in the room. Anyone who packs the last things a few minutes after ten on the day of departure will be asked to evacuate by constant knocking and screaming.Regulars and staff tend to single out women traveling alone and taunt, ignore and slander them.

Cozy guesthouse with probably the best food (breakfast and 3 or 4 course menu at 6 p.m.) in all of Juist. I would love to turn my vacation there into a career!

Warm, family atmosphere in this guesthouse, very clean rooms and sanitary facilities (shower and toilet in the hallway), good breakfast, excellent food (3 courses) in the early evening. I felt completely comfortable.
