We were here to have lunch. Therefore I can't say anything about the rooms. But I can say something about the food. It was an absolute dream. You can't cook better. Service absolutely friendly and helpful. Keep it up and all the best to the trainees. 🤗

We stayed at the Hotel Hitthim as a couple for a long weekend. Absolutely beautiful location and very nice building. The location is really great. That might have justified the price. However, then the disastrous food comes from the frozen food department with ready-made sauces mixed together. This is an absolute disgrace. Despite half board, we preferred to go to other restaurants from the second evening onwards. The service over the days was so-so... Maybe that was because it wasn't peak season yet. However, I don't feel the need to visit this hotel again for a much higher price in high season just to be even more annoyed. Some reviews here confirm that this is not an isolated case. Given its location, the hotel is unlikely to rely on repeat visitors. Luckily, there are really good alternatives.

Unfortunately, you notice the difference from the pre-season and post-season extremely. The menu is small and completely sufficient, although the portion sizes tend to vary. Chicken au four for €22 is rather cheeky. Small chicken breast cut open, 2 spoons of seasoned meat on it and some cheese. The fried potatoes were lukewarm and the plate was rather carelessly prepared. No side salad, nothing. In June I had the same meal, which was delicious. The tarte flambée with salmon was a tarte flambée that briefly saw the salmon. There was hardly anything on it. The staff seemed stressed, even though less than half of the tables were occupied and the Aperol was served in a water glass, so thin was it. It's a shame...the house is beautiful and fits so well into this harbor. This has been a starting point for us for many years. However, the service and quality have declined significantly over the years. There is much more potential here. Please do something🙏

The hotel is very nice and the restaurant continues to offer very good prices that are cheaper than average. The food is good, but my tarte flambée had very little salmon. In principle this wouldn't be a problem, but I've previously seen the same order with more than twice the amount of salmon. We have been coming here for years and such uneven treatment is unacceptable, especially since all guests pay the same price.
