Great place, the peace and quiet is indescribable.The groundskeeper is a monk and this peace resonates throughout the entire valley.Different nationalities come together here and you can see that multiculturalism is very good for Thuringia.

Very idyllic campsite with a small stream in the middle. Not too expensive and good service. Sanitary facilities could be a little more inviting, but since it is a campsite there are no points deducted for this.

Idyllically located campsite. The medical facilities are small but clean. I think the price is too expensive. We paid 28 euros per night. This included environmental tax and a 5 euro flat rate electricity fee. The power station only had a connection for 2 campers. You can easily get into town with an additional vehicle.

A really good campsite, everything is very clean and the site fee is only €16.5 per day with 2 people but then we really get to grips with electricity, tax, CO2, energy tax, the site then costs a total of €34.5 per night and that's it exaggerated for the matter. Oh yes, shower for 4 minutes. another 4€. Never again

Nice place in the countryside. Access is rather difficult for larger vehicles. Sanitary facilities are small, there is only cold water, you pay extra to shower, showers have no privacy screen! The parking spaces are freely selectable and without limits.

Beautiful nature campsite. Enough space for a few caravans and mobiles. Free seats.Smaller one that runs through the square.Unfortunately no snack bar or small shop.There is a small “mom and pop” shop in the village, a 5-minute walk away.The playground could use a little attention.Therefore a star deduction. :(

Clean toilets, clean showers, pure nature and very warm hosts.It would be nice if there was a snack bar or other restaurant on site.We were there with a caravan.Price-performance ratio is right, so full marks.

A very nice campsite with a playground and stream. The sanitary facilities are small, but clean and in order. Absolute peace and relaxation. Unfortunately the local store wasn't open. Then you have to drive further to shop. All in all, highly recommended.

It's a shame that the homepage gives the impression that the place is open in October (season April 1st to October 30th) and when you arrive there is a sign that says the season is October 3rd. has ended.

I know the campsite from before because we once had a bungalow there. I was there again with my family after a few years and I have to say I was horrified. The forest is almost cleared. But friendly staff. For a short vacation if you don't want to be spoiled everything is ok. nice for children.

Quiet, clean campsite.You have free choice of seating...Nice operatorsUnfortunately a bit away from a swimming area, but still easy to reach everything by car. The town of Ziegenrück offers good restaurants and a beautiful environment... would also come back

We spontaneously looked for a campsite online. I spoke to a friendly lady on the phone. On site we were greeted in a very friendly manner by other people. We thought we were wrong. Unfortunately, we discovered that the situation on site no longer corresponds to what is still available on the internet. There is no possibility to eat and there is no breakfast offer either. You can buy something to drink. There is a small shop in town. It's great :)The sanitary facilities are fine, the place is pitch dark at night. It was enough for the two of us with a tent and was rustic.The operators are super friendly and helpful.

I can recommend the place 100%.I spontaneously needed a break and we booked a bungalow for a weekend. The bungalow and the whole campsite are very clean and the operators are very friendly and helpful.We took the forest adventure trail (sometimes went off-road when we saw something interesting) and found it very nice. We also walked through the city including the old town.We would really like to come back!

This place is ideal for campers looking for peace and quiet. You have a free choice of places, far away from the hustle and bustle of the Plothe.The owner is extremely friendly and radiates inner peace.Otherwise a simple place, but ideally located for hikes.
