we organized youth camps in this establishment for years where I was an instructor and I have incredible memories of it. I am even thinking of coming back next year to introduce this magnificent place to my little family (but I do not speak as French I hope we will be able to organize that)

I was there for a children's treatment in 1979 and experienced the worst 6 weeks of my childhood.I can remember the dining room in particular very well what happened there, I would rather not even mention it here, it was simply horrible...

Very friendly owners and employees, excellent breakfasts with plenty of choice (delicious homemade pancake!), decent and clean rooms and common areas. Very quiet, sumptuous setting. The only downside is the bedding, which is quite painful for the back.

I was a guest at the JH for two nights with a school class.Overall, the youth hostel leaves me with a very positive impression.The food was above average for a JH.There was a large selection at breakfast and variety at lunch and dinner.The rooms are what you would expect in a youth hostel in this area.Functional furnishings, the beds were pretty clean for us, as was the room itself.However, me and my “roommates” agree on one point.The pillows were far too hard and small, it would be nice if they could be improved.The toilets were always clean, but the showers were in the area of cleanlinessoccasional complaints can be heard.Overall, the JH pretty much meets the expectations you should have for such a price.

Youth hostel is a common standard - from the 70s.The Juhe Rudenberg is in a quiet location and has a very nice view. However, it is not advisable to arrive without a car or bicycle, as shopping, attractions and transport connections are not nearby.There are some options for leisure activities, for example a playground, table tennis table, table football, a small indoor swimming pool in the basement (tip: disinfect your body thoroughly after bathing, water has a rather urinal taste). Except for the playground, there is an additional charge for almost EVERYTHING. In addition to the already above-average room costs for the furnishings, you can spend quite a lot of money on the small amenities for things that are taken for granted in other accommodations.All in all, the staff is easy to get along with but not very helpful.A breakfast buffet is included in the price. The selection is decent, several types of rolls with various toppings, muesli, and a standard selection of drinks. You can also bake waffles. Even if the taste of grated lemon peel might not please everyone, it is definitely a great thing.At lunchtime and in the evening there is usually nothing between the gills.Various drinks and snacks are also available for purchase at gas station prices.Third-party alcohol is also prohibited on the premises, so getting drunk in a small group is only possible for those with larger wallets.However, as a real Swabian spaetzle, Juhe Rudenberg is out of the question due to its location in "Badner-Land", simply because of the complex cultural differences. If you can ignore the tiring dialect and the constant display of Baden culture, that's okayIn this context, I probably have to mention that I have nothing against Badner, at least nothing that helps.

Great location! Waking up to the sunrise over the mountain, and seeing cows grazing in beautiful pasture.Room was good: clean, everything in order.Food was tasty, but not that much variety.Staff were friendly and helpful.
