The food in the restaurant was absolutely first class. Great combinations, sensational taste. Service very good.Small points of criticism for the ambience and at the same time tips on how simple means can make the guest's stay even better...E.g. tablecloths on the white high-gloss tables or beautiful wooden tables, more comfortable seating, a little warmer lighting and soft background music! That would do a lot.But again... food and service absolutely recommended! Would like to come back, but something should change in terms of seating comfort (3 hour stay = uncomfortable for the back, etc.)

We spontaneously had dinner in the restaurant in the evening and what can I say, it was excellent!After looking at the menu, we decided on the 5-course surprise menu and told us which intolerances we had and then we got all the courses that we would have ordered as a menu, just great! Upon request, there was also a wine accompaniment, which was a great fit. The young service team was very friendly and the evening was overall very entertaining. On the recommendation of the table next door, we took home-made muesli, which was also incredibly tasty. If you are in the area and want to enjoy a successful, delicious evening, you have come to the right place :-)

Were there for our silver wedding anniversary. Treat us to the 5-course surprise menu. After two greetings from the kitchen we started. The food was fantastic and the service was great and very friendly. If we could give more stars we would. There you understand something about the craft. We'll be back.

I was just passing through today and couldn't stop by, but just because of the beautiful building with the old espaliered fruit trees, I'll have to come back. This is what an inn looks like to me.

After several perfect stays during Josef Bauer's time, this was the first time we were back at the Adler since it reopened.When we entered the inn we immediately felt “at home” again.The 4-course surprise menu was consistently a delight, the composition of the dishes and the respective flavor nuances testify to Mr. Vogel's high culinary art - the product is the focus, pure enjoyment without the often shown showmanship with "packaging and artifice.Mr. Maier's service was characterized by friendliness and attentiveness. As in previous years, the inn and the guest rooms still simply exude a feeling of well-being.We had a wonderful evening and are already looking forward to seeing you again soon at Adler.

For me, at such an upscale restaurant, everything has to be perfect. But that wasn't it.In front of the house, the flower pots sit carelessly in plastic pots in the ground. The menu in front of the house is not current.The food is good, but also incredibly expensive.The sauerbraten was good, but not tender and sour.A second bottle of mineral water was simply opened when the first was empty without asking.The dessert was good. The espresso cup was cracked.So if you end up paying €150 for two people, everything has to be perfect, even when you walk to the restaurant...

We had booked for dinner and overnight stay.We have been there again and again over the last few decades and have been very satisfied.After a long break and last year's reopening, a successful deja vu.The young team around Mr. Vogel seamlessly builds on Bauer's level, with some new accents. Guest room and rooms are still stylish and inviting.The menu (4 course surprise) was imaginative, creative and very tasteful and aromatic, the wine pairing was perfect. A convincing revival of an upscale tradition. The service friendly and attentive.The prices are adjusted at a higher level.We will be back.
