The campsite is nice, there is a lot of entertainment for children with an indoor and outdoor park. In the restaurant, the food is delicious and the service is good. The water in the children's pool is cold, and in the large pool it is even colder. There is a jacuzzi, but it is also with cool water, not warm as is normal. The store has everything you need, but the prices are high. What disappointed me the most is that I had booked a bungalow without pets and when we entered the bungalow there was dog hair everywhere. On the sofa, on the beds, on the floor. I was disappointed because I had noted in the extras that I didn't want a bungalow that had animals in it. And if someone in my family has an allergy, what will happen then? I have nothing against dogs, but not everyone is comfortable with animals lying in bed, sitting on the chair and leaving hair everywhere. We decided not to complain because we were going to spoil our vacation and they were unlikely to fix their mistake. But this is unacceptable. They must divide their bungalows into those with animals and those without animals and respect the requirements of the people who come to the campsite.

Very quiet and clean park right on a small lake. From our house we had a direct, wonderful view of the lake. It was really beautiful. This park also offers a lot of nature. We had a lawn in front of our terrace, which was perfect for playing with the children. The staff were accommodating and extremely nice and friendly. There is a really great children's indoor play area here where the children can let off steam and have fun. Trips like to Trier and Luxembourg can be easily started from here. A visit to the fire department museum, which is not far away, is definitely worth it. We were very excited and will definitely come back :)The house's furnishings were very modern and attractively designed. It was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The in-house market has delicious bread rolls and is also very well stocked. A visit to the Landalpark Hochwald is definitely worth it :)

Evaluation:Overall we were happy with our stay. The accommodations corresponded to the age of the facility and the indoor playground was a real highlight for the children. However, we noticed that the additional prices for food and drinks were significantly excessive - for example 6.50 euros for a bottle of water or a simple steak without side dishes for around 30 euros, which we find unreasonable. The swimming pool was particularly disappointing, especially the whirlpool, which was unfortunately not inviting due to its low temperature (estimated 10 °C below expected) and severely limited bathing fun. The cost of an hour of bowling, just under 30 euros, also seems disproportionately high compared to the prices of a conventional bowling center (20-25 euros).Due to these unexpected additional costs, our stay unfortunately lost some of its joy and ease.

What a lovely park this is! Small, clear, beautiful location and everything you need is available. Swimming pool small but nice fun features in the water. Cool indoor playground and beautiful outdoor playground. We had a children's bungalow and we liked it too. It was nice and spacious and the kids were very happy with their own TV. The surroundings are beautiful, many hiking opportunities. Large Rewe supermarket is 5 minutes away. There is a lot to do in the area, such as Trier, Saarburg 3n tobogganing!

Beautiful holiday park. Spacious, the houses are well distributed on the site. We had a 12 person house, it was big enough, but it was nice and warm without the heating on. Swimming pool was small but big enough for the children. The food at the park was all well taken care of and the children especially loved the robots that brought the food. Beautiful area good for walking.

I've just been on hold for half an hour! Then I wasn't even connected to Landal Hochwald. The lady on the phone wasn't nice. Booking is only possible via an app. Everyone just wants an app. Nobody thinks anymore about older people who don't have a cell phone or can't handle it. You should write everything on the website, how and what you should do and, above all, allow telephone contact. Otherwise I can only advise everyone to spend their money elsewhere.
