We were there for breakfast. Rolls old, leftover schnitzel from the day before, overall very undemanding. Host on and just over the border of impertinence. Gossips about guests to family so guests can hear. All the 5 star reviews here are never real. But hey, make up your own mind. Once and never again.

Everyone is welcome here!My best friend and I were treated to participation in a survival camp in Wachstedt for our respective 40th birthdays. Beforehand, we looked for somewhere to stay for one night in Thuringia. And what can I say...I was positively flashed! From the start we had the feeling that we were in good hands. Kind-hearted people, including the boss Daavid, gave us a warm welcome and made us feel very welcome. The rooms are very tidy and clean and have been decorated decoratively with great attention to detail. In the evening a regular guest asked us kindly if he could invite us for a beer. We followed his wishes and had a very nice and pleasant time together until the night. If I'm honest, I only knew such hospitality in Germany in Cologne. Great guys with their hearts in the right place. We really enjoyed the food. Whether spareribs with our own barbecue recipe, black beer roast, Thuringian dumplings or a good old seasoned meat with schnitzel, it was simply a really tasty meal from the region.Summarized in one sentence: “We were more than positively surprised and had a really good time.”

We had a very nice overnight stay here. The country hotel is really very quiet and from the room you could only see the green of the trees. From the wonderful sun deck you could even look beyond it into the nearby forests. Despite the uninviting weather, the sun deck was open and we were able to eat our very tasty meal and drink two drinks here. The entire staff was extremely attentive and friendly. The boss himself is a perfect host with his open and approachable nature. What was there to complain about? So. Complaining at a high level. The plastic flowers on the sundeck spoiled the impression. The beds were large, but the mattresses were soft. Good, but soft. I know, very subjective and admit, I prefer to sleep on very hard mattresses. The 15 euros for breakfast are no small feat, but the selection was very large including local sausage. In addition, the service was very attentive and quickly conjured up wonderful eggs in the kitchen. That costs money and we're happy to pay. Only the rolls were quite soft and not crispy at all. The supplier should make improvements. All in all, I can only say it was a wonderful stay. We can only recommend this country hotel to everyone. We will definitely come back if we need somewhere to stay in the area again.

Absolutely gorgeous! Our stay in this country hotel was perfect all around. The location is idyllic and offers wonderful peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle. The rooms are lovingly furnished, clean and very comfortable. Particularly noteworthy is the excellent service: the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, so you immediately feel welcome. The breakfast buffet was varied and stocked with fresh, regional products. Dinner in the hotel's restaurant was also a culinary highlight. We can highly recommend this hotel and look forward to our next visit!
