We were two families.When we entered the restaurant the air could have been cut off. It was super stuffy and all the smell of cooking was spread throughout the restaurant.The waitress was reserved but responded to comments. The food for the children was totally okay. But everything TK. The spiced meat, solyanka and broccoli soup were also okay.Prices are okay too.

We were here for our annual student meeting (class of 1940/1941). During the three days we felt very comfortable here, located in the middle of the forest, in completely quiet nature, the inn offers excellent cuisine. The staff and the manager of the house are particularly polite and accommodating. The rooms are completely satisfactory. But you can also rent a holiday apartment. If you want to explore the beautiful city of Mühlhausen, you definitely shouldstop at Peterhof.

Mon-Fri 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. according to the website!! After hours of walking you find yourself standing in front of a closed snack bar. Never ever

We went to Peterhof for lunch today. I had schnitzel with seasoned meat and cheese gratinated. The portion was super tasty and very large. Whatever you can't manage will be packed up and you can take it home with you. I'd love to come back.

We were there for dinner today. For staff reasons, it was self-service outside. We had to order in the restaurant and when we asked that we would like to eat outside, we were told "it's self-service here"... very rude.The special was a mixture of water, orange and cola? And the schnitzel, as beautiful as it looked, came out of the deep fryer!We cannot recommend the restaurant and would not go there again

We went to the restaurant for coffee. It's a shame we couldn't sit outside in the beautiful weather.Condition was unfriendly, felt like we weren't welcome. It looks very boring. I can't recommend this inn. There are better cafes in Mühlhausen.

On June 22nd, 2024, our club, The Thuringia Team Drivers, took part. a day tour towards Eichsfeld, over the Hörselberge past Hainich, to Mühlhausen, Treffurt and back. Our fellow passengers came from the seniors' day club in Waltershausen Ibenheim.The age range ranged from approximately 60 years to 100.8 years!!!For lunch we went to Peterhof near Mühlhausen. Since we were already there in 2021 and continued our journey very satisfied, it should be the same this time (with almost 50 people).The result was enormous from everyone, great service, fast service, friendly staff, everything was just right.As a club, we can only thank the landlord and staff again. THANKS !!!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. We try to respond to every wish and fulfill it. In terms of taste, all I can say is great. It tasted very good and the menu is very extensive. In my opinion, the ambience is also beautifully designed and invites you to linger. Personally, I found the portions very large and plenty. The rest can be packed up and eaten later. It's definitely too tasty to throw away.If you don't feel like cooking yourself and want something good to eat, Peterhof is the right place for you. After eating you can go for a nice digestive walk in the forest.Great restaurant with a very nice environment.

We stopped here again today while passing through. The portions are more than sufficient (almost too much). It was very tasty and I can only recommend the sliced turkey with mushrooms. Normally there are croquettes, but I wanted fries here.

We had lunch in this authentic and rustic forest inn. The menu is clear and includes Thuringian dishes. The food (duck breast with red cabbage and dumplings) was freshly prepared and very tasty! The service was quick and very accommodating, even the head of the house came out of the kitchen briefly to inquire about the guests' well-being! If you are looking for fresh and honest Thuringian cuisine in an authentic atmosphere, you have come to the right place! We will come back next year despite the higher VAT!

Very cozy rustic inn with appropriate home cooking. My steak au four was the best I've had in a long time and a really generous portion. The seasoned meat is homemade 👍 My companion also really enjoyed the duck breast with red cabbage and Thuringian dumpling. An absolute recommendation!
