Very nice hostess. Spontaneous visit with overnight stay. We got a generous sausage salad at 9 p.m. Rooms freshly renovated. Rich breakfast.

No overnight stay, just dinner.The personal reservation was not accepted and we waited 20 minutes.Found the portion of Kässpätzle to be too small. But I got full by snacking on the neighboring plates.Plum liqueur is recommended.Nicely furnished restaurant, clean. Service good.

Super nice service, the rooms were very clean and practically furnished. Overall, the last renovation wasn't long ago, so everything is still as good as new. Breakfast with regional food, eggs from the farm, delicious and something for everyone (starts from 8:30 a.m.). The boss brings drinks personally! Location directly on the farm - ideal for small children and recommended without reservation!

Oh yes, what should you actually write at a wedding? Food was great, drinks were plentiful and good. Rooms very nice, everything freshly renovated.👍A small drawback is the breakfast. This is far too late for a child-friendly house, and for us too! 8:30 a.m. No, that's not possible and the organization of breakfast also needs to be reconsidered! Here, the wrong structure unnecessarily ties up staff who may then be missing at other times.Otherwise people if you want good food and drink come here. Highly recommended.👍

We went as a family. It is a real working farm, not a tidy tourist business. We think that's great, because it's very authentic. Our little one spent a lot of time with the animals. The host family is very friendly. Gladly again.

Whenever we go on holiday in the Allgäu, a visit to the Gasthof Engel is a must. The cheese spaetzle is very well known and sought after regionally and the roast beef with potato salad is also worth a try. You can't go wrong here. In my opinion the best Swabian potato salad in the world. And I've already tried a few!The landlady gives great advice and there is also a free cheese spaetzle tasting plate for children.In a nutshell: rustic and delicious: top recommendation!PS: there is a separate playroom for children, toys and lots of books to pass the time.

Very friendly family who look after the gas and holiday farm. Always an open ear for questions. Food was simple, no frills and tasty.Very tasty beer.The rooms are nicely furnished. The only thing we would have liked was shower gel and shampoo as well as a bottle of water in the room. Clear recommendation 👍

We ate very, very well and plenty of food here at the Gasthof Engel. And the service staff were also nice and competent. The playroom where our children could hang out after they had eaten is also very nice. Big praise to the Gasthof Engel and especially to the senior boss who sat down at our table for a nice chat.

Really good Swabian cuisine. You can get a potato salad like grandma's that is still lukewarm here. I thought something like that had died out in the catering industry.The schnitzel for €15.40 is plentiful and not frozen. The spaetzle with sauce was very good. The onion roast with cheese spaetzle is also simply very good.The guest room is bright without being uncomfortable. Lots of loving decoration and pillows. They really make an effort here!The beer garden is beautifully done. Great long solid wood benches with a shady tree canopy.Lots of free parking.
