Hello, I would like to share my impression of the Pension Am Mellensee with you.I come to this wonderful hotel twice a year. It's quiet here and the service is at the highest level. You can order breakfast, the rooms are clean and tidy. Service at the highest level. The prices are not high. Here you can always relax and recharge your batteries. Come, you won't regret it.

The rooms are okay and clean. What I absolutely cannot understand is the high price of €80 per night, given the location in the middle of nowhere. You can stay overnight much cheaper in some busy areas. There was no room cleaning during the 3-night stay, but fresh towels, toilet paper, etc. are available upon request. The area can be described as absolutely quiet, but there are no shops, bakeries, banks or gas stations in the immediate vicinity and the cell phone network is just sufficient. After a long day at work, you have to take detours to get what you need.

We come from Leipzig and would like to thank you very much, they were two very tidy and clean rooms.At first we, my husband and I and our two children, didn't want to have breakfast but then we thought about it and luckily we were able to order it again. It was very tasty and well served. Calm and pleasant music played during breakfast.All rooms and hallways were neat and clean. Very nice place! The owners of this establishment are very polite people. The service staff is also very friendly.There is a lot of greenery around. In autumn you can hear the cranes crowing!Everything regarding basic needs: rating 5 out of 5

A small 'pension' (more like an old apartment with a few rooms, furnishings old-fashioned but ok, there wasn't even a chair in our room). Breakfast fresh and plentiful (sausage, cheese, etc. from the discounter). The landlady was very friendly and helpful.Unfortunately, there are a few things to complain about:WiFi is switched off from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.! If it's provided free of charge, then please do so for 24 hours. It's included in the price!We were NOT presented with a registration form! NO card payment possible!The seasucker bed linen somehow didn't seem entirely fresh (with reservations).But the worst was the bathroom: musty smell - possibly caused by a totally dirty toilet brush - disgusting and unhygienic! And the drain in the sink has never been properly cleaned - thick brown edge! Apparently there is never any 'thorough* cleaning here! -> Photos!Since we really like the area and we often work in the surrounding area, we were hoping to find a nice place to come back to in this guesthouse - which is also beautifully described on the relevant booking sites. But with these defects that probably won't be the case, as that doesn't justify the price. A pity ....
