I stopped by the beer garden last night alone. What developed from this was unbeatable in terms of hospitality.I was sitting alone at the table and Peter's employee was celebrating his birthday there in a small group. After a quick and friendly inquiry, I sat down at the table in question.I had a more than good evening in good company. What should I say?The host is just not for polo shirt wearers but rather a clear edge. But that's what makes this place special in the end.Order to go in (Metallica as background sound) and just enjoy. If you want honest beer at a fair price, you've come to the right place

We wanted to eat out here - but that didn't work. When we went into the dining room to order and someone came after a bit of a wait, we were told rather rudely that dinner time was over and that there wouldn't be anything until 6 p.m.Well - then just cake and coffee. When we ordered, we were told that the menu containing the cake we wanted was only valid from 6 p.m.... you don't have to understand that...By the way, lunch dishes and afternoon coffee are advertised in front of the inn.We then canceled the order and told the landlord (??) that we were giving up and leaving. Then we were called: Yes, that's good, do it...One try - but never again.

A spacious room. But not enough sandwiches for breakfast, the shower drain is clogged, the floor is crooked so that your head is lower than your feet, dog hairs in the carpet and on the outdoor mat, the floor creaks so much that you wake up when the other person goes to the toilet at night, towels small and like sandpaper. Never again here!!!!

A very dated hotel, it is a kind of "time travel" to 1965. There is also a matching smell from that time. A combination of stale / old / smoke / cabbage and simmered meat. All posted posters and announcements do not seem to apply when you ask about them. An example is breakfast, which is available everywhere between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM. In practice this turned out to be between 08:00 - 09:00. This was because the owner "had more to do"...The owner looks especially tired. Tired with matching disinterest and unfriendliness towards guests and the world. We were therefore surprised that we could no longer drink anything at 9:02 PM on a Friday evening. The owner had closed the tent. That closing was sometimes literal, by the way.The owner literally ducked for business, a large sign with Biergarten, but the owner didn't seem to want that business. The owner is only friendly when his local friends join us on the terrace. The beer flows freely. The lady on Saturday evening and the male house help are super friendly and helpful. On Sunday evening the entire hotel was closed and dark at 8:00 PM. As guests, we were allowed to enter with our key through an unlit side door. The hotel-restaurant is clearly a mortuary construction, and a few euros are scraped together by renting it out to tourists and, above all, with minimal efforts and investments. Slatted bases literally fell apart.Upon departure on Monday, the owner was on the phone when returning the key. No effort was made to speak to us. The door was literally locked behind us.We won't go back here, if you go here, don't expect anything and bring your own drinks :-)

Preferably 0 stars. There were 6 guests sitting in the beer garden. Outside A notice that orders must be placed inside. After we were ignored inside, we rang the bell on the counter. The only thing that came from the kitchen was a very unfriendly one: no time, have to make food!Probably not getting any staff, no wonder in such a mood. Left immediately

I was at the inn for dinner. I can only recommend the Teufelsschnitzel and for the price of around €20 it was a good and tasty portion with fries and salad. The landlord is very nice and the homemade ginger lemonade is surprisingly tasty and of course a bit spicy.

We can't say anything about the rooms. We had a holiday apartment and only went down to the valley to eat 😎Yes, it is true as described here! It makes a 70 charm. In the guest room there is a counter, a small pool table and a date board. Not to everyone's taste. But honestly... We think it's great. 👍 I think that a village like Elkeringhausen does exactly that. Nice service and good food. There's something about it! 👍👍👍
