Very nice at the castle. In all respects it is exactly what you would expect from a youth hostel.Only the path from the parking lot to the hostel is a bit of a challenge for the children. I recommend carefully considering every step from the car and back. Otherwise, you should definitely enjoy the view from the castle keep.Many thanks again to the Burg team!

Living in an old building can be fantastic, at least when you combine it with a few modern amenities. The castle is - but that's not surprising - not barrier-free, but the rooms are newly renovated. Particularly noteworthy is the sanitary area in the basement. You immediately feel at home there.

The overall impression of my stay at the castle is entirely positive. The only point of criticism concerns the beds, which are a bit tight for my size - but I also have this problem in hotels.The room was clean, as were the showers in the basement. The food was very tasty, the “castle staff” was courteous and friendly.It was my 17th visit to this youth hostel over the last 20 years as part of a Midgard Con, which certainly shows that I am very happy with the location.Conclusion: For the budget of a youth hostel, the performance is outstanding.

The rooms were clean and the bathroom was spacious.The staff was friendly and helpful.The food was good, plentiful, varied and tasty, even if the cook was a little too generous with the salt in one or two dishes.

- Rooms could be cleaner- the staff was rude and unfriendly towards the children- the food at the knight's meal was very good, unfortunately the ambience was not entirely convincing and the staff said they didn't feel like putting on their appropriate equipment- the warehouse of the location is very nice- the showers and toilets in the basement are very modern

We stayed in the family apartment XL for a weekend. The room consisting of a living area, two bedrooms and a bathroom. Was really unique for a youth hostel. The staff was friendly and helpful. I only see room for improvement when I eat.

The bunk beds in the room were a bit annoying because the ladders were always in the way.Otherwise it was just great, even special requests for food were addressed in the best possible way and quickly, reported deficiencies were remedied very quickly and everyone was always friendly. I love that the castle is so “small” and homely and I really like it

The LuLaComTre 2024 took place again this year at Breuberg Castle. The castle is just great. Great location, great service, delicious food, top rooms and the shower area went a step further. Youth hostel? Maybe, but more of a little feel-good oasis!Clear recommendation!And the fact that we also saw the Northern Lights that evening just made it even better!

It was a very nice time at the castle and the staff helped me at all times and they did everything I could to implement my wishes in the best possible way. The food was very tasty on site so I didn't miss any dinner. So many thanks to the team at Burg Breuberg Youth Hostel.
