It's been about 5 years since our stay. Unfortunately we don't have good memories of this place. In winter, when temperatures were cold, we stayed in an external house next to the main house. It was very cold due to no heating and insufficient wood or pellets for the stove. We told the hostess, Elke, that we were freezing and needed more wood for heating. She then explained in a harsh tone that we should close the windows at night if we wanted to stay warm. We had a window open. We always sleep with our head upright, even at home. We found the fact that as a guest we were being watched like that disgusting. At the table with the other guests, we learned from a guest who had been there a year before that the problem with insufficient heat in the house had already existed back then. We found the older hostess to be very un-relaxed, unfriendly and unwelcoming. The food was boring and simple, and not 100% raw. When we arrived that day we were presented with something similar to quark that we thought was raw. After all, we had booked there to do raw food and I was even vegan at the time. When we had eaten half of it out of kindness, we found out that this dish was made with normal quark. Really ugly. The location of the house is not nice. You expect nature in a secluded location. It's a bourgeois village. Because we couldn't stand it any longer, we simply left earlier. We cannot recommend this raw food hotel.

Raw and happy food in the middle of the country.I spent two weeks here and totally enjoyed the silence and seclusion. Happy employees, kitchen fairy and clean fairy, alongside the magical, joyful owner Elke, round off the whole experience. In addition to healthy, delicious food that is really varied (it's not true that it's always the same. Total nonsense), there are good conversations every day and lots of tips for a healthy life in all facets. And above all, tips on self-determination!Attention, here you can really switch on your brain and listen. If you follow advice, you can really benefit from it.

Unfortunately the dishes are always the same. Whatever was left over from lunch was given again in the evening. The dishes that were on the website were not available. The book is great. Unfortunately, Elke doesn't accept that you don't like anything sweet early in the morning. I would have preferred tomatoes, cucumbers or something.

Today we were able to take part in a special event at the Sonnenhaus. On the one hand, Elke and Regina conjured up delicious raw cakes and sweets, and on the other hand, we (Andrea, Uwe and Ludger) were allowed to provide musical accompaniment throughout the afternoon. We hope that the guests enjoyed our mix of English, High German and Low German. In any case, we had a lot of fun making music, the raw delicacies tasted extremely good and everyone got a few great jokes told by 92-year-old Otto for free. Even the weather held off with the rain until the event was over. All in all, it was a really nice afternoon for us.

It was terribly bad, showers with cold water, sleeping in beds that were totally lumpy and, to top it off, there is no smoking outside on the terrace, so I won't go to this place again, I'm on Monday but I've never been offered anything like that before a six minus

It was enriching to get to know Regina and Elke's kitchen for a week. There were no restrictions at all, on the contrary, everything tasted very good and I picked up a few suggestions, for example "discovering" a new type of rice.

Incredibly warm people and a retreat for anyone who wants to eat raw food. Sweet rooms, great extension, guesthouse in a quiet location. So far, I have always been able to recharge my batteries and completely relax in the sun house.
