The innkeeper tries his best, was very accommodating and extremely hospitable, but unfortunately quickly reaches his limits due to his age... The rooms are clean but are getting old. Breakfast is not recommended - eggs boiled to death, spoiled for coffee, simple cold cuts. It's actually sad that a mature man still has to hunch over at such an advanced age, even though he can barely afford it anymore... :/

Price-performance ratio is completely fine. The room was rustic in the 90s style but very clean. The bathroom was modern and also very clean. For a few euros more you can get a hearty breakfast with fresh coffee.

Unfortunately the pub is no longer open.Back then, I always liked to drink one or two alcoholic soft drinks. The innkeeper, affectionately known as Zucker or The Beekeeper, was always very understanding if you wanted to have a beer at 1 a.m.The schnitzels were always delicious...there wasn't anything else :)As a local, I often had breakfast there...the breakfast was always great and plentiful.

Only one star because no one answers the phone, let alone responds quickly, even though the door says pension is open. Too bad

I can't say anything bad about the guesthouse. We were at the Ricklinger Landbrauerei at the weekend and attended a brewing seminar there, so we took a place to sleep in Rickling, namely here with Mr. Ramm in the “Ricklingerdamm” guesthouse. The double room was spacious and clean. For breakfast there were fresh rolls with our own honey and jam and fresh sausage. Of course there was fresh coffee and orange juice and a hard-boiled egg.The guesthouse is not the most modern, but it is very familiar. I can recommend the guesthouse to everyone.

I'm really sorry because the innkeeper was quiet, nice and older, but the "overnight stay" was a disaster.I had a 5-day training course in the neighboring town and the price for an overnight stay in this inn was cheap at ~35€ per night. The room on the ground floor had the same furnishings as it was in 1960. As if time had stood still. I thought that was kind of cool at first (I like the 60s). The bathroom looked more like 1990.However, the room was very unkempt. The old carpet was a single indefinable stain (hello dust allergy). There were many of these thin, slow, pale spiders in the bed, bed frame, wardrobe (outside and inside), curtains, heater, desk... actually everywhere, especially in the approx. 20 cm wide gap between the head of the bed and the wall .Sorry, dear host - we have spiders like that in the basement, in corners that haven't been swept for years. I have no problem with the fly mummies on the windowsill, nor with the greenish coating in the fridge, but these spiders right on the pillow are a no-go.I organized another place to stay that same day, paid the innkeeper for one night and left.

We spent a lovely evening in this inn with the family. The service was very nice and the prices were quite ok. But I think most of the sauces were missing something...
