Pure rip-off. Reserved in advance, price 160 euros. On site "No, we don't have a reservation. But we can still accommodate you. For 242 euros." Were dependent on it, but it's still just bold and cheeky.

We are currently in the Neumünster youth hostel. I can't understand the bad reviews. The rooms are as modern as possible. The breakfast is completely sufficient (except Nutella, that would be great :))This is a youth hostel and not a 5 star hotel, but still completely satisfactory. The reception is very approachable and friendly.The location is great, you can quickly get to the city center, but also quickly to Hamburg, Kiel, Eckernförde (fantastically beautiful). You don't just hang in the room all day. Don't worry, kindness comes back when you give it yourself. With this in mind, I can only recommend the accommodation. We'll definitely be back.

Huge rooms and even had 2 bathrooms! Great location, just a few minutes walk into town. The staff was very friendly and to our surprise there is housekeeping to clean the rooms! We experienced it for the first time in a youth hostel! Breakfast was completely okay. Facilities modern and in keeping with the spirit of the times!

The location is easily accessible. The dinner prepared for us had been prepared for a long time and the cheese and bread were dry and the selection was very limited.The worst thing is the rooms. Everything there is damaged and sometimes very dirty.We chose it as a stopover to have a stress-free journey to the Port of Kiel the next day.The service was very unfriendly in the evenings. Towels were given out and it was only later mentioned that they cost money.If you don't have to go here, don't!See pictures! The bathroom was also a disaster, uncomfortable and without shelves. The shower was just in the room!

In Neumünster there is no pizza after 5 p.m. 🍕 but there is a butter dispenser here :DDDDDDDDD

As far as I know there are also rooms with TVs and double beds. Ours was pretty simple but functional. Fits! We were only there to sleep, so I can't comment on the other facilities.

Perfectly equipped youth hostel in the center of Neumünster. Stayed here for 4 days as part of a championship. The rooms were spacious, well heated and the beds were comfortable. Food and drink (full board) were well above average for youth hostels and the staff were very friendly. Overall we felt very comfortable!

Not recommended, the rooms are bare and there are graffiti under the beds. The bathroom has an unpleasant smell. The meals are not special. Definitely different than we imagined. Photos do not match reality.Definitely never again

Even though the rooms are a bit old, we had a pleasant stay.The breakfast was very extensive for a youth hostel and the service was really on point.Very friendly staff who really try to make your stay as relaxing as possible.

Very friendly and service-oriented staff who seem to feel comfortable themselves. This also creates a good atmosphere for the guest. Our family room was more of an apartment (with two bedrooms and a private bathroom). So great!Breakfast times are pleasant (not too early). So not all of the guests come together.The corona-related processes (one-way street at the buffet) make sense, are implemented well and convey security.My suggestion for improvement would be bedside lights on the beds.

Had a seminar there! Our well-being was taken care of, sandwiches and lunch were very tasty. The ladies at the reception and the ladies who brought us food were very nice!
