OK for stopover on way to Denmark. Stayed in spacious field with electricity but bit of walk to toilet & showers. Was looking forward to some German hospitality & a nice cold beer but got shunned away so resorted to own beer in campervan .. their loss of sales !! Random music on Sunday morning from other campers (loud) or piped through camp ?!

We went camping here a second time over the weekend during the summer holidays. When you arrive at the campsite, the place makes a good impression. The registration was quick, the reception was friendly, bread service was offered, there was a small restaurant attached.In the rear area there are large meadows with trees and bushes. The ground is not straight everywhere.Let's come to the washhouses: We were in the rear washhouse. It looks like a sewer, there were no trash cans near the toilets, there are no hooks or places to put things down at the washing areas. Shoes cannot be left in the entrance area. The washing up areas are outside and are not covered. The taps are not permanently mounted. I don't think it's a bad thing if something is getting old, this one is just plain unloving. If you put in a little effort, it could be much more pleasant here with little effort.Let's get to checking out. The prices are acceptable to me, but not understandable. Last year we were billed as a motorhome with our roof tent, 2 adults, this year as a family tent. It would be helpful to ensure more transparency here.We can only hope that something will happen with the new tenants here. It would be a shame if everything stayed the same.

The campsite makes a good impression from the outside. There are many shaded areas due to the many trees and bushes. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are in poor condition. You can certainly ignore the fact that this is very old. Unfortunately, these are cleaned very irregularly and then only very poorly. The rear washhouse also smells very unpleasant. The restaurant is okay. You get what you expect. The service in the restaurant is particularly friendly.

A slightly different insightSeveral large meadows, which are surrounded by beautiful, large trees ... this is the Klüthseecamp campsite, completely different from what we know.These large meadows are divided into many small parking spaces for caravans, mobile homes and tents, without any apparent boundaries.In our opinion, this is certainly sufficient for overnight stays, e.g. for a visit to the Karl May Festival, the Heide or Hansa Park, the port city of Hamburg, the North Sea, ...; for a longer relaxing holiday with a little bit of privacy, but completely unsuitable.As soon as we arrived, even before registering at the reception, one of the many ushers came up to us, then waited briefly until we came out of the reception again and rode his bike to a place he had intended for us.We soon noticed that the narrow green strip that he had assigned to us as a comfort spot was intended for a total of six camping units.In the end, we had a place in the shade all day long, which wasn't really what we wanted.The staff was very friendly, but the workload left no time for a request or even a conversation.Our parking space was centrally located near the reception, where there are also two sanitary blocks with showers, washing facilities and toilets.During the night, around 2:30 a.m., one of the two sanitary buildings was thoroughly cleaned again. However, no consideration was given to surrounding campers or even the night's sleep. The large runner, which is supposed to keep the dirt from street shoes out of the inside of the building, was quickly transported out of the sanitary building ... and we jumped out of our beds. Even after that, sleep was out of the question until the only person responsible for cleaning had finished his work, because he was talking very loudly on the phone with a lady. Although these calls are made via earphones, both foreign voices can be heard very loudly.The sanitary facilities in the reception area are very old, but they are clean.In the restaurant 'Stuuv', which is located next to the reception, the friendliness and the food are very worth mentioning. (You should definitely try the fried potatoes).When the weather is nice, the terrace also invites you to relax and dine at local prices.Maybe I could give you a slightly different insight into our lasting impression of the Klüthseecamp.Ultimately, everyone should make their own impression.I wish you a lot of fun during your stay, a good rest and many beautiful, lasting impressions...

We are currently there and based on the previous reviews we were afraid we wouldn't be able to take a shower until we left on Sunday. Yes, the facilities are old and certainly need updating. But they are nowhere near as polluted as portrayed here. Anyone who sees them as totally dirty and polluted has never been to a campsite in France. You are even afraid to touch the tiles with any part of your bodyEveryone here is very nice and tries to please everyone. The prices are fair, there is nothing wrong here

A very nicely located place right on the lake with small swimming areas. The staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are getting old and have left a bad impression. Unfortunately, they weren't clean either and there was always a very unpleasant smell. It's a shame, the place has so much potential...
