The campsite is getting old, but that's okay. With the beautiful location between the lakes. The sanitary facilities are standard and as a camper you are always happy about “lockable” shower cubicles with hot water. We were here over the weekend and there was extremely loud music playing until well after midnight. Unfortunately, our complaint the next day didn't help. We were advised to ask the person responsible to turn down the music. Very funny. That's not my job, I'm a guest here. The same game or rather the same volume of music again the following night. We have been campers for many years and have experienced a lot. But the night's rest was kept so far. In my opinion, this campsite doesn't believe in that at all.I can't recommend it and we'll definitely never come back. When I left, I brought up the topic again. And the really nice woman at the reception said that that wasn't even possible. I really didn't feel like discussing it anymore.

First of all, the positive for me as a holiday/leisure camper. The boss and staff are incredibly friendly, so it's difficult to write anything negative. Some suggestions for improvement that will definitely help:1. Cleanliness: I'm not fussy, but some guests don't know what's appropriate. Beard stubble and hair lay there longer and the guest area at the back/downstairs was certainly not cleaned twice a day. Especially the sinks.2. A few more hooks in the shower area in front of the showers would help in the guest area at the back/downstairs to make it easier to put down/hang up bags and coats. The showers themselves of course have hooks.3. Everything is natural: You should often look for dead carrion (dead birds, dead rabbits). It's not acceptable that there are dead animals on the campsite, so some guests say: "Is that still there?" Unpleasant!4. In my opinion, there are no soap dispensers in the toilets?5. Closing times at 10 p.m. way too early. With the "lunchtime" there was a constant unnecessary fuss about the barriers and when you were allowed to go in and out, when you had to go in and out. The Baltic Sea is at least 30 minutes away. The concept should then be adapted.Overall, you hardly noticed when cars were moving on the square. The clientele is rather quiet anyway. At least a distinction should be made between the week and the weekend. You may also need to make a distinction between holidaymakers/leisure campers and long-term campers, as their areas are largely separate.Long-term campers can easily set up because they live there (see article Lübecker Nachrichten from June 22, 2022).Extension to 11:30 p.m. makes sense.6. There is a lack of light at the back/bottom of the toilet/bathroom area. A lamp would help. https://maps.app.goo.gl/pksqbnvvkyYWWJCs6Good luck to you. I'll definitely come back again.

We were with about 50 people. on site for 4 days. Almost everything went well with our reservation, only our list of participants was not updated. Bread service is great. Care very friendly. The paths could be repaired. Otherwise we had a great time and a lot of fun.

Popular: This campsite, located in the middle of nature, is nice and quiet and clean. We formed our own opinion, despite negative reviews. Yes, the bathrooms are old. But they are clean at all times. …

We stayed here for 2 nights. The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities was so-so... it's nice that there is a children's sink, this is built into a worktop that dissolves a lot. If I pay for dogs, there should also be several equipped dog stations...The young man at the reception is very nice and helpful. The ladies from the shop too!We were satisfied...

Very nice campsite, I like that there are no fixed plots, the nature is also beautiful. The Klühtsee, which gave it its name, is not that great, there is no circular path that can be cycled, the Segeberger See can be circled by bike, but when it rains this muddy path takes getting used to and is dangerous, but this is entirely due to the city of Bad Segeberg, which has other parities in the spirit of Camping Klüthsee. Back to the place, the showers and toilets urgently need to be renovated. The paths are littered with fire extinguishers. Everything is portable, but doesn't invite you to come back. The restaurant is excellent, the schnitzel event on Friday was not that well organized, even though we had reserved a large table.

We have just spent a week at the campsite during our summer holidays. Registration went smoothly. The license plate number is recorded for the barrier and you get a card for the washhouses, which we personally didn't even have to use.We were told that we could simply choose a parking space on the meadow. We assumed that the parking spaces were numbered and parceled out, which unfortunately wasn't the case. This means everyone can pose however they want and take as much space as they want without considering others. We found that a bit uncomfortable and unusual. Otherwise, the place is very nicely laid out and the swimming lake, where there is a small beach, is only a five-minute walk away, if at all. The swimming pool listed is mini and costs €2 per person per day, but we didn't use it because the lake was crystal clear and beautiful for swimming, even with small children. We had a small washhouse opposite our parking space, which actually smelled unpleasant and wasn't always very clean. The washhouse at the reception is a lot bigger and we found it to be a lot cleaner. The interior is getting old but it really wasn't as bad as some people describe it. Everyone should take a look at how they leave space in the washhouse. During our vacation there was also a youth travel group on the site, which was really very pleasant, but the washhouse looked catastrophic in the morning and evening after the kids were in there. But that was sorted out by the campsite over the course of the day, at least in the morning. The four playgrounds were outside but covered. In the back area of the reception, where the restaurant is also located, there is a small playground as well as a beach volleyball court, a basketball court and a large lawn with goals. The childcare with a nice surrogate grandmother was also really warm and very trustworthy. What we found really nice was that there were a lot of rabbits hopping around on the plots in the evenings, even if there were dogs there, they dared to get relatively close to the caravans etc. We chose a spot under an oak tree, unfortunately it must have secreted something so that at the end of the holiday we had an absolute plague of wasps on the awning and caravan.

We went to this beautiful place for our annual Karl May weekend for the second year in a row. It's easy to reach and not very far from the Kalkberg. The staff is very helpful and extremely friendly. Of course it's true that the sanitary facilities are old, but for us they were always tidy and cleaned several times a day. We will definitely spend our weekend there again next year.
