I was there this year. Nobody from the entire staff was speaking English. I understand many things and the point it’s a village, but how come that even at reception I couldn’t get information I needed. I felt bad as a foreigner. We have XXI century.

We were very lucky to be able to celebrate our wedding here in June. We were enchanted by the location when we visited it a year earlier. The farm has been beautifully restored with very special halls and hotel rooms. It looks super exclusive and chic with Bullerbü charm with a playhouse and cats and chickens. We had a large group of children with us who were able to let off steam in the park-like garden. Due to bad weather, the wedding had to be moved indoors to the cowshed at short notice. This didn't seem like a Plan B at all, but was very special and celebratory. Special efforts were made to ensure that a guest in a wheelchair was able to get in. The staff was without exception friendly and even spontaneous changes to the seating arrangement could be implemented without any complications. Both the cake and the menu were extremely tasty and we received many compliments on the food from the guests. We can recommend Gut Pronstorf without reservation and would celebrate here again and again.

A quick review from the service provider's perspective: I was recently a DJ at a wedding in the Kutschstall and felt well supported at all times. Friendly welcome, all of my requests and wishes were quickly implemented, friendly service staff, relaxed dismantling with the rest of the team tired but still in a good mood. That's how you can work, thank you very much! 🙏☺️

My review is only about the Christmas market, I don't know the hotel.Entry costs €8, which is just about affordable for a family, children are free. Despite booking online, we had to stand in a long queue. The ambience is beautiful, especially when it gets dark. The muddy, slippery paths could have been sprinkled with straw. The stalls were usually quite nicely decorated and sold more or less beautiful handicrafts. However, I don't know what Vorwerk, Thermomix or infrared cabins are doing at a Christmas market. The snack and drink stalls were a real disaster. Far too little, almost half an hour of waiting, greasy, sticky bar tables and bar counters, incompetent and unfriendly staff. Nobody needs something like that, especially not if the mulled wine isn't really hot and a simple apple punch for children costs €4. It was nice, but not worth a second visit. It's a shame about the really beautiful location.

For such a big announced Christmas market, it was very, very small and manageable! There were about 10 small wooden stalls and an exhibition on two levels in a barn. The salami sold there was very tasty, but 25 euros is a lot of money for half a sausage, unfortunately there was only half or a whole sausage!

We stayed here as we were in invited to take part in a wedding and celebration. The hotel is truly rustical and the church from the year 1200 was walking distance. The experience was memorable.

Absolutely perfect wedding at Gut Pronstorf! We got married in April in the best weather with 50 people in the carriage stable at Gut Pronstrof and couldn't have imagined a more beautiful wedding. We can recommend the location with a clear conscience to every bride and groom who is looking for a dream country location.Everything went well in advance: the first viewing, the rehearsal dinner, where further details for the big day could be clarified in a relaxed setting, and the email correspondence in which every one of our wishes was addressed (although a designated contact person was an extra plus here were). On the day itself, last minute requests were also implemented to our complete satisfaction. The staff was extremely professional and friendly, so that both the guests and we felt very comfortable.Other plus points are the beautiful hotel (with first-class breakfast!), which is located directly on the estate, so you don't have to take a taxi after the party (as with other locations) and the alternative location in case of bad weather. For us, this was the argument for Gut Pronstorf that we could have spontaneously moved the wedding ceremony and reception indoors in the event of bad weather. The backup location would have been directly above the celebration location, so that the older guests would have had to climb stairs, but not a lot of distance.Absolute recommendation, worth every cent!
