Feriendorf Wardersee

Quiet, short distances to the Baltic Sea. Unfortunately we couldn't get to the lake due to flooding. Supermarkets are about 10 minutes away by car. The house was modernly furnished and we didn't miss anything. The two bedrooms next to each other are very noisy. A small criticism was that the towel radiator didn't get really warm. I complained about this and the only answer was that they were installed incorrectly and that's the case in all houses and there's nothing you can do. Of course, this is not pleasant as a customer in winter. Unfortunately no compensation was offered.

Perfect to switch off and relax for a few days. The house had a small sauna and a fireplace. The kitchen was well equipped. Ideal for rainy autumn days and time for each other. The surroundings are really beautiful. The local hosts are super friendly and helpful. A personal thank you from us!

We were here in the last week of August in mixed weather, unfortunately swimming in the lake was out of the question.Unfortunately there is only a small access to the lake and not directly from the holiday home.First the somewhat annoying thing, the prices for water (the amount has been forgotten) and electricity (55 cents), which unfortunately have to be paid separately, are clearly too high and an additional source of income. After 5 nights that cost another 20 euros separately. We used the sauna once, which certainly helped.You can also pay well for towels and bed linen.Our holiday home was really super modern, clean and equipped with everything you need in a house, including a sauna, except for enough coffee spoons, which were clearly not enough.But there was even a Playstation 4 there.The garden was well maintained and the entire interior was not worn out and was treated with care.The bedrooms are very noisy due to the wooden construction, but if everyone is asleep, it's fine.The area is very quiet and located in a small village (no shopping).Bad Segeberg can be reached in 10 minutes and the Baltic Sea, Lübeck, Hansa Park or Kiel takes approx. 30 - 45 minutes.So a good start for excursions if you don't need the sea right on your doorstep.The prices seem to vary in the holiday village; the owner probably decides on the rental price, which is then billed via Novasol.All in all, a successful short vacation near the Baltic Sea.

Very nice, quiet holiday village that is primarily designed for families. We stayed there for 6 nights and can't complain about anything. The house and garden are large and more than sufficient. There is a small swimming area right in the holiday village, which is very nicely located. Only the floor at this bathing area is very uncomfortable and sometimes painful, depending on where you step. The lake itself is really beautiful.The connections are fine. We didn't see much in the surrounding area, but there's a lot to do within an hour's drive. Among other things, you can go to Hamburg or the Baltic Sea, both of which we can only highly recommend.Personally, we would have liked a little more comfort. It's absolutely understandable that you have to bring your own things to make the beds and the little "care package" in the kitchen is also very nice (it includes, among other things, a garbage bag for organic/plastic/leftovers, dishwashing tabs, etc small bottle of dish soap and two rags/wipers). Unfortunately, we still had to buy everything else (towels for drying our hands, hand soap, tea towels, dishwashing sponge,...). These are little things that we would have found very practical if they had been available in the holiday home.The gardens vary greatly depending on the holiday home. Houses that are more centrally located often have a garden that can be seen from the outside. Our holiday home was on the edge, almost directly on the lake (but not accessible because there are trees and bushes there), which meant that our garden offered a lot of privacy. This will probably become more pleasant over the years as the greenery that separates the gardens has yet to grow properly.In general, the holiday homes seem to differ a little in terms of furnishings. We had a small fire pit, a swing, sandpit and an in-ground trampoline in the garden, while our neighbors to the left had a real barbecue and lounge chairs. You should pay attention to this when choosing a holiday home if you value these things.The contact and service were very nice. When the fuse blew, someone was there immediately and showed us where everything was if it happened again (which it didn't, but we don't recommend using the dishwasher and washing machine at the same time^^). Everyone was completely friendly.We are definitely thinking about coming back because we really enjoyed it :)

Ideal to relax!About 30 minutes you are at the Baltic Sea. About 45 minutes in Hansapark.Really good staff, there is always help if you have any questions or suggestions.

Very nicely located holiday village. Unfortunately with an extreme disadvantage. To date, the paths in the village consist only of gravel roads (not made since they opened several years ago) with poorly filled potholes. That's better. Therefore a star deduction.

Cool. Comfortable houses, a very spacious apartment with three rooms and two bathrooms with a sauna. Fully equipped, kitchen equipment, washing machine, vacuum cleaner, satellite TV, board games, grill. A small shop in the area, close to the lake and the forest. I recommend a perfect place to relax.
