I had the pleasure of spending three nights at the villa and would like to share my experience, although I rarely write reviews. The overall package impressed me so much that I'm happy to take the time. The villa is extremely well maintained and exudes the charm of bygone times as it was built over 120 years ago. As an allergy sufferer, I forgot to request the allergy-free bed linen required. However, the owners reacted immediately and organized suitable bed linen for me that same evening - an excellent service!I was able to choose breakfast à la carte and it was very tasty. As a field worker, I often stay in hotels, but this villa stands out for its special atmosphere and friendly service. Anyone who likes something a little more personal will feel very comfortable here. I can highly recommend this hotel!

This beautiful B&B is located within easy reach of the motorway and is lovingly decorated down to the smallest detail, both in the house and in the rooms. The hosts are both very welcoming and our stay felt like visiting friends. What I found very good was that there was no breakfast buffet, but you could choose what you wanted in advance. If it wasn't enough, it was no problem at all to order more. This means no food is thrown away unnecessarily. Tip: Try the Bircher muesli, it's absolutely delicious!

This was so easy to find! We just used Google Maps, and it took us right here. Kevin and Breta are wonderful and attentive without being bothersome at all. A very lovely couple. They were sold out our first night for good reason. Breakfast was excellent! The overnight oats were the best I've had, and the fruit salad was the absolute best. The fruit was so sweet and fresh! Also, it's just far enough from Munich to avoid a bunch of partying crazy people but close enough that people could take the train to Oktoberfest. They recommended a fabulous restaurant in Türkheim, only an 8 minute drive and if, properly dressed, a nice, 2 mile walk on a trail past a waterfall and into old town.

For a few days we were pampered by the very warm hostess in this beautiful house with its stylish furnishings. Breakfast was a delight for the eyes and the palate! Everything is very clean. There is even insect spray provided so that the gnats leave you alone when you sit outside. We received many valuable tips for things to do in the area. We'd love to come back.

The hosts are very friendly, you feel warmly welcome, as if you were staying with someone privately. The villa is exceptional in terms of the garden, the entire house and the interior, as well as the furniture and equipment. It's like a boutique hotel. The rooms are quiet from the outside. The concept of the breakfast concept against food waste is convincing. The breakfast menu offers everything you could wish for. The room was nice and big. You could easily regulate the room temperature yourself, which is impossible in most hotels today. The hotel is basically on the Way of St. James. We had problems twice with the door lock getting stuck. The window didn't close very well either. Towards the hallway you can tell that the house was built in 1905 because it creaks when someone walks through it. Our bathroom was quite small. The fact that we couldn't check in until 5 p.m. wasn't ideal for us pilgrims. We were at the accommodation every day at 2/3 p.m. and were otherwise happy to shower, relax and arrive at the place. Here we passed the waiting time with a trip to Landsberg and simply left our backpacks hidden at the hotel beforehand. It was a 25-minute walk to the train station and the journey there was a bit complicated. The bus stop, which is basically in front of the villa's front door, is rarely used in the direction of the train station. Of course the hotel can't do anything about it.

We had a very pleasant two nights in the Zollhaus Villa at the beginning of May. We probably liked it there so much because the furnishings and garden style almost correspond to our style ideas of rural, rustic and noble aristocratic. We were able to enjoy the view of the park from our large and very quiet room with a balcony. The entire house breathes history and we hope that the flooding from the nearby Wertach River on the first weekend in June did not cause any damage... and get well soon for the family dog!
