We only visited the restaurant. The service was very friendly and quick, the food came quickly, too quickly! The first cordon bleu was raw inside, so complained to the waiter. The second Cordon Bleu arrived at the table quickly, but it was just as raw inside as the first!!The next complaint went to the restaurant manager, there was an apology and the dish was canceled from the billing receipt. So far, so good, but the desire for another meat dish was definitely over, disgust prevailed. Our recommendation: avoid restaurants or just drink beer. This is actually very tasty.

We haven't regretted our weekend at the monastery brewery for a second. The rooms, the service, the hearty food and delicious beer are absolutely worth the trip! By the way, our little dog was also very welcome 😊.

A charming hotel in a historic monastery atmosphere! The rooms are individually and lovingly furnished, with a successful mix of historical charm and modern comfort. The in-house restaurant impresses with traditional Bavarian-Allgäu cuisine and the excellent, home-brewed monastery beer.Particularly noteworthy is the unique atmosphere in the old walls and the beautiful monastery garden. The staff is attentive and friendly. The location directly at the monastery is ideal for excursions into the region. The only small point of criticism: the breakfast could be a little richer.Nevertheless: A special experience for everyone who is looking for authentic hospitality in a historical ambience.

The beer (light) was delicious, but the food (hock) was a disaster. One knuckle not crispy, the other extremely dry (not crispy either). As regular knuckle eaters, we have rarely had anything worse. Comment from the waiter: "That's a shame."

Very good restaurant. Nice service. The meals were tasty and reasonably priced. It's also great that several dishes are offered as senior portions, but they still fill you up well. We can recommend this restaurant without reservation.

Very nice Bavarian inn with beer from its own brewery. The original drink is highly recommended.
