Called at very short notice, super friendly contact, absolutely smooth booking.Rooms simple, but everything you need and definitely clean.Breakfast very friendly service staff, breakfast totally rich and served to the eye for a reasonable price.Huge parking lot, so we had no problems with our truck, free of charge too.We recommend.Thank you very much

To be fair, the hotel changed hands in mid-2023 and desperately needed the change due to the renovation backlog and lack of ambience. I wish the new operator a lot of creativity/nerve and stamina to bring this “hotel” up to date and in line with the times!I spend around 200 overnight stays a year, mainly because of my field work.However, for me this country inn was the most depressing place to stay. (and finally just before Christmas)Old-fashioned rooms and bathrooms, no comfort, no socket in the bathroom, unfortunately there was no hairdryer - overall absolutely dreary.The whole house looks/is cold and old. Especially if you're out and about all day, you'll be happy to have some atmosphere in the hotel - but none of it.The water in the shower changed constantly. between boiling hot and icy cold.The breakfast matched the ambience...The butter was expired (which isn't a problem in itself), the rolls were puffy and the choice of toppings was not of quality. (the coffee was readyi. O.).I would have preferred to leave on the first evening if the route home hadn't been so long and the roads hadn't been icy. (So I had to stay there for 4 nights because there were hardly any accommodation options in the immediate vicinity and the "Saterländer Hof" was fully booked)(It's not possible to eat something on Monday evening because everything in the area is closed/or I couldn't find anything.From Tuesday the chances are definitely better).Fact: the profiling based solely on the price is out of proportion... and maybe that will be different after renovation (although I was traveling in S. Anhalt this weekend - and there was no difference in price/only here the ambience/modernity is right the whole package)However, the boss is really friendly and accommodating - I wish her all the best, lots of guests and perseverance!

Had our legendary Christmas party yesterday. I have to say, the service team + boss "you were great"! We had more than fun. The food was great and the all-round package was flawless. We've stayed that way since 👏

Highest praise to the new owners. Yesterday we celebrated the RuF Saterland equestrian ball at Dockemeyer with very friendly, fast and attentive hospitality. Absolute recommendation. Thanks to the entire team and hopefully see you next year.

We hosted a small family celebration at the inn.All wishes were 100% implemented and exceeded. It was beautifully decorated and everyone was very child-friendly, which is unfortunately not a given in the catering industry. The food was great and every wish of the drinks could be fulfilled - even well chilled!Because I read a review about the cleanliness of the toilets. Everything was in perfect order for us and basically everything was very clean!The new hosts are doing great at the Gasthof Dockemeyer. We will be back!

The lady who rented me the room was very friendly and the price for one night with breakfast was also quite reasonable.The room had everything you need, very nicely furnished and the breakfast had everything you need for a good breakfast - all I can say... we will definitely stay with you again... until then all the best...

Loud music until 5 in the morning! Someone is celebrating their birthday but you can't sleep in the room because of the loud music. I have 900 km to go and I haven't written at all. Never go to that hotel again

We celebrated our wedding there on Saturday last week and we as the bride and groom were completely satisfiedAll of our wishes were taken into account. We were always able to get in touch when we had something and it's just nice to celebrate there because everyone is super friendly.The food tasted great and there was plenty of itIt's clean there and we can't say anything negative about itPreviously discussed procedures were followedThe 5 stars are definitely more than deservedThank you very much Tanja and Ali and their team

First of all I would like to say: I can highly recommend the Landgasthof Dockemeyer :).++ Positive ++The food that we were served as a buffet for my grandma's birthday was both delicious and more than enough. There is nothing worse than when certain dishes are "empty" early.But that was definitely not the case. We were extremely satisfied with both the food and the service. Thank you for that :).-- Negative --There is actually nothing negative. All the better! :)I would just like to point out a hole in the pavement of the parking lot, where there is a risk of accidents, especially for the older generation. It doesn't have to come to that, so please fix it :).
