Feel-good atmosphere in the monastery!A great concept, Kneipp treatments in the monastery hotel! We were there for the third time and will definitely come back. Simply very relaxing without a TV in the room, healthy, fresh food, nice employees who respond very accommodatingly to requests. I was able to spend my birthday there. Also, big compliments to the bathroom department!!

Very nicely located hotel but completely overpriced. Despite the high-priced hotel, there is little comfort in the rooms. At breakfast, food could not be refilled after it was empty. Very nice atmosphere in the hotel, but the price is unreasonable

I've been to the KurOase a few times and have always appreciated the peace and quiet and the good food. Unfortunately, my last stay was marred by a loud group of guests who partyed in the monastery garden until one o'clock in the morning (reception was no longer manned, so no one ensured peace - the wishes of other guests were ignored by this group). Actually, monastery and party should be mutually exclusive, I can because of the silence. One morning the cook was absent from breakfast due to illness. When I asked at the reception whether the chef would be there tomorrow (my main concern was that I would like to have a delicious breakfast again 😉, that morning it was quite chaotic and a lot of things were missing/weren't replenished) they said: of course, like every day! Sorry, that was actually just a lie and completely off topic. Then I was informed that I need to be understanding. The fact that on the other hand there was a lack of understanding for a disappointed guest went unnoticed. And so I had to experience that even the slightest question provoked harsh words. Otherwise there were many little things that show: things were going better in the hotel.Last but not least: The fact that, thanks to fixed, not freely selectable table reservations, you can sometimes sit alone at a table as a solo traveler and then have to talk to new acquaintances across the aisle (or eat alone with music in your ears) is a concert that appeals to me no longer brings joy. So next time just breakfast and as little time in the dining room as possible. But: the bathroom department really does a great job!!!I really hope that things get better again. Because I can really use a real spa oasis 😊.

A gem. Of course you have to know WHY you want to be in a monastery hotel in the Kneipp city.

All in all a nice place. My room had a balcony, but it didn't get an ounce of sun and was therefore always rather cool. It would be nice if this were described or said somewhere. The treatments were good, only the hay bag in the morning between 4:00 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. woke you up in the middle of your sleep and it was usually difficult to continue sleeping.Unfortunately the seating arrangement at the table was predetermined.Dinner was scheduled for 6 p.m. However, the entire dining room was first supplied with drinks. Sometimes it took until 6:40 p.m. until the starter was served. Logistically perhaps it's not possible otherwise, but for me sometimes it's just been delayed a little too long. The outdoor area, the monastery garden, was appealing.

Beautiful hotel in the former monastery where Sebastian Kneipp worked during his lifetime. The rooms are modern and clean - and deliberately equipped without a television. The breakfast is good. Kneipp treatments are also offered in the house. The staff is nice and friendly.

Nice atmosphere, especially because of the connection to the monastery. The rooms are very nice, you sleep wonderfully because of the peace and quiet in the house. The Kneipp concept extends through the treatments and the wonderful food. The hotel is characterized by the fact that it does not have a typical hotel character (e.g. no TV in the room), which is very positive. Cozy dining room, great family service and all employees competent and friendly! If you want to do something good for yourself, the monastery oasis is just right for you!
