We were overwhelmed by the beauty of the property, the view and the panorama of the Alpenpension Ettlerslehen. We were warmly welcomed by the hostess and everything was explained to us. The chalets themselves are equipped down to the smallest detail with love and an eye for detail. For families, the Alpenhof Ettlerslehen is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful destinations we can imagine. But this place is also a real recommendation for families without children, a place where you can forget about time and enjoy nature. Our only regret is that we didn't get to discover this place years ago. And only with a bit of luck were we able to spend our vacation here this year.Thanks for the time to the super nice host family!

Feels like "coming home" :)After my 10th stay on this wonderful piece of earth, I can say with absolute certainty that the one in Etterlehen was by far the most beautiful.Absolute warmth, unique hospitality, great rooms, the entire lovingly designed property with a fantastic view of the mountain panorama, gigantic natural swimming pond plus a cozy sauna house - unique!Plus: You can reach Hintersee or Königssee in just a few minutes by car.Thank you very much for this unforgettable stay - I will definitely be back!

Magical place! Absolute insider tip for everyone looking for peace and relaxation in a beautiful place with a view of the Watzmann. Hospitality is very important here. Great sauna and natural pond with a picture-perfect view of the Berchtesgaden Alps. Breakfast 1A with stars. From the accommodation you can reach all the highlights in the area in just a few minutes by car. Hiking trails are also quickly accessible on foot. Absolute recommendation for a dream vacation in Germany!

Dear Christa, Dear Peter,we had a wonderful stay with you! You were incredibly friendly and helpful, and made us feel really welcome. The breakfast was delicious and the facility was simply fantastic. The rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable.We found it particularly great that the complex is so family-friendly. We had been travelling through the Alps for nearly two weeks, before we stumbled upon Ettlerlehen by chance. We had visited Berchtesgaden two months earlier and decided to stay in a quieter area this time. Ettlerlehen certainly delivered on that: the location and setting are simply delightful with no noise and the most wonderful vistas over the Watzmann and Schwarzeck. The main house was full, so we ended up staying in a very spacious two-bed annexe with its own patio. The accommodation was cosy, clean, very well equiped and most importantly - comfortable. Our host family were very welcoming and went out of their way to make sure that we would have a great stay. Our land lady kept checking daily whether we needed anything and could have not been more helpful. If you are looking for accommodation that is not just a holiday let, Ettlerlehen is certainly more than that: it is a whole experience! We visited in early autumn, but we will certainly be back to see the place throughout the other seasons.

It's beautiful there. Totally familiar, natural swimming pond, great breakfast, lots of animals - highly recommended - the view is also gigantic. Very much for children. Sandbox, trampoline etc. everything is there...

Christa, Peter and the whole family make you feel absolutely welcome. Rooms and chalets are well equipped. The whole property is amazing, including the swimming pond. For us a lovely holiday in a great Alpine guesthouse. Super friendly, delicious breakfast with a wonderful view of the Watzmann, small sauna with a nice relaxation area and everything you could want on vacation. We would love to come back here

We spent our weekend there. It was super nice, we had a great double room with a balcony. Plus a great view. Rooms were clean, or rather very clean. Were warmly welcomed in a family environment. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Super nice sauna, and the peace and quiet was just wonderful and I can say it again and again. This view is awesome. It was pure enjoyment. We booked a weekend in May. We're already looking forward to it.
