Was there recently for 4 nights. It is indeed very rustic and in many ways the only splendor of the inn can only be glimpsed. But there's still nothing to complain about: the rooms have what you need and are clean.The host himself comes to the guests' table in the evening and verbally presents the day's choice of food. The food is extremely good, the prices are acceptable.The service is outstanding. You have to give him credit for the fact that the innkeeper keeps the inn alive with a small staff and gives people work in this way. The guests didn't miss anything, I felt like I was in good hands and looked after.

I don’t recommend. Absolutely terrible! We paid €113 for a room for two with breakfast for one night. We were accommodated by a strange gentleman, apparently he was a cook. 113€ is an exorbitant price!! For me, this 1 night for two people with breakfast is equivalent to €50 ... Definitely not more! It looked like a hostel there... And now I have insulted hostels. It's pretty on the outside, but that's all! I was told that breakfast is from 7:30. We were at the restaurant at 7:30 in the morning, it was dark everywhere. At 7:45 the master came and only started to prepare breakfast there. So after 15 minutes we got butter and jam. We waited 20 minutes for pastries, then another 15 minutes for cheese and salami. (3 slices of cheese, 3 slices of salami and 2 slices of something) for two people. The whole time we were there the machine was beeping in the restaurant, it was crazy.Beep , beeep and beeeeep! I still have a headache. Unfortunately it beeped all night, how annoying. There are paper walls in the rooms and overall the room was appalling. The gasthof is next to the road, so even if you close the door to the balcony, the noise of the cars disturbs you. The photos of the rooms on the website definitelly not correspond to reality. 1 star is too much! No more, It was a horror.

One star is already too many. It's a shame what has become of this!! We could only choose between 3 dishes and that was also a mess. We didn't get the salad that came with it. Afterwards we would have had to pay for a dish that we didn't even have. That was the last time!

Stayed at the accommodation for 3 nights, we were greeted very nicely with a welcome drink.The rooms were clean and tidy.The inn is ideal for day trips.We were able to park the e-bikes protected and with charging options.The breakfast left nothing to be desired.Will be happy to come back.

We were totally thrilled. Service totally friendly and attentive. To drink we had the wine recommendation, which is also highly recommended. As a starter there was a mussel soup and a marrow dumpling soup. The mussel soup was super tasty and flavored with saffron.For the main course, both fish dishes were translucent and juicy. The potato salad was homemade. The potato wedges as a side dish with the trout were also good. The plaice including the breading were very tasty.To finish there was a yoghurt cream with caramelized apples and a delicious schnapps.Here we cook with passion in a family business. Price and performance great. No frozen goods, the food was freshly prepared.We'll come back on our next vacation.

In Bavaria you often get roasted goose or duck around Kirchweih. In fact, in the southern district of Berchtesgadener Land there was little of it on offer that day, but we wanted it. So we were happy to find a sign next to the road saying “fresh duck”.What should have made us suspicious was that the Rehwinkl's parking lot was empty and we were the only guests in the dining room.The waiter was obviously a migrant, but as it turned out he was the only friendly and sensible person in the house, he even apologized to us several times. For what? Almost like in a theater, the most severe insults could be heard from the kitchen and at such a loud volume...! “Stupid S..” “You dirty pig…” etc., those were the epithets that were thrown at each other there. Unfortunately, it wasn't meant to be fun, but rather serious. We almost wanted to leave but had already ordered and drank the drinks so we stayed.Despite these very unpleasant circumstances, which lasted for a long time and not just for a short time - the protagonists didn't seem to mind whether there were guests listening or not - the food was relatively ok. The fresh duck wasn't completely fresh but from the day before or the day before, but the taste was ok, especially if you added salt. We had worse fears because of the acoustic spectacle...

Very friendly service.Everything else deserves criticism: Waiting about 35 minutes for a lukewarm starter soup (marrow dumplings) is simply too much! The broth was completely weak, tasted like it had been watered down, and there was no taste of the marrow in the dumplings.After another three quarters of an hour, Kaiserschmarrn and roast mushrooms arrived. Kaiserschmarrn is a sweet dish and you can also use sugar... My wife had a sugar shaker brought over.The applesauce was coarse compote. Eight guests who came after us had their food before us. Something is going wrong...Side salad without dressing, oil or spices.Roast mushrooms and bread dumplings didn't taste like anything. Mushrooms thrive on pepper and salt, ideally parsley. Unfortunately none... Flat, no onion in the mushrooms, no spices. In Bavaria I expect hearty and tasty cuisine. Unfortunately, the kitchen here has no plan for cooking...Overall very disappointing and definitely not recommended!

Had dinner there today. Schnitzel with mushrooms is served in a soup bowl. Roast pork with dumplings, almost cold, 2 slices of meat almost as thin as sliced bread. So little on the plate, what does the children's portion look like?2 people €43 with 1 drink each, you should at least be full.The waiter was very nice and attentive. That still doesn't make me recommend it.Terrace directly on the street.

We booked a room here for 4 nights. The rooms were very clean and had everything you needed. Every day the room was cleaned, the bed was freshly made and new towels were provided. The breakfast was rich and very tasty. The hosts were really extremely accommodating and friendly. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back! Best regards, Brunhuber family.

Unfortunately, the rooms advertised and shown on the homepage are not the ones you get. It's a real shame for so much money. The whole house smells like stale fat... very unpleasant. During the course of your stay, you unfortunately notice a lot of things that shouldn't actually be intended for holidaymakers... loud shouting in the kitchen with extremely vulgar and unfriendly expressions. This is something to think about. Unfortunately not recommended at all.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed without having been there...after calling to see if there were rooms available, I was told it was possible but the kitchen was being renovated, no problem for me...should make an inquiry via email...said and done...inquiry via web Page then sent another email but unfortunately no response...apparently they don't want to make any money

We would have to break off the vacation, the mattresses were too hard from the cooling system, the cooling system was running every half hour, the light was always shining downstairs from the driveway. That's not possible at all
