We had the holiday apartment for 2 weeks. Very nicely decorated and very clean. You have a fantastic view from the huge balcony. The landlord is super friendly and helpful. You can start hiking straight away and there are plenty of restaurants in the area with good prices and excellent food. The perfect vacation for us.

Great, clean, authentically Bavarian accommodation with a good breakfast and a very friendly hostFallen:Great location near the Wimbachklamm, next to a good inn, about 25 minutes on foot from the town center of Ramsau.Very clean, original Bavarian but still modern and well-kept rooms, cleaned daily.Very friendly host, takes care of everything, gives great hiking and excursion tips.Delicious breakfast with rolls, sausage, cheese, jam, chocolate spread, coffee or tea and different little things every day (something else is certainly possible on request.)There is a shared refrigerator for guests where a few small items can be cooled.There are also drinks there (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) for really fair money, if you feel like it on the go or in the evening.The accommodation has a huge selection of current information flyers for the area - both for hikes and other excursion destinations and information.The host always has the right flyer ready for the next destination :)Please note:(Didn't bother us, but might be relevant for some people)Very tall people (over 1.90 m) may have to lie slightly at an angle in bed, as there is a wooden border at the foot that is higher than the mattress.The WiFi was a bit unreliable - sometimes you could connect and have reasonably fast WiFi, other times it was very slow or you couldn't connect.Neither of these things bothered us as we only used the WiFi to find information and send pictures, for which the mobile data should be enough if necessary! :)But business travelers or people who really want to watch Netflix should probably. Download the desired series and films beforehand or make sure you have enough data volume (the network there is very good LTE).

It was another lovely stay at Haus Kehlstein. The room was very clean, the view of the Watzmann was breathtaking. Mr. Keilhofer prepared a lovingly prepared breakfast every morning and gave good tips for things to do throughout the day.

You have to get there very early so that you don't have to wait in line at the checkout. The price isn't exactly cheap. With tourist tax €26,00 per person. But it's worth it. …

It was our first time at Haus Kehlstein and we were greeted very friendly and warmly. The breakfast was very tasty. Mr. Keilhofer had a nice conversation with us every morning and gave us great hiking tips. The room was very nice and clean with a great view of the Watzmann. We felt very comfortable.

Don’t go folks. You can’t come close since they are doing maintenance on the house. The bus is not driving. The road is closed. You can walk, but only to the elevator. Oh yes: the small documentation center only allows a few people in. The wait8ng lines are looooooooooong.

Hello,We were there in July and were very surprised.What you read before is true. The house is beautifully located, very nice, cozy rooms with a balcony and even a new bathroom :-). The rooms are cleaned every day, the breakfast is delicious and varied and the landlord is very friendly, he asks if you had a nice day and gives lots of tips, very accommodating.We'd love to come back!
