Mediteranos

The first visit to the Mediteranos restaurant was a big disappointment. I don't give any points for service and food!There are long waiting times when ordering and processing the invoice.The waiting times are caused by the staff themselves. For example, the owner serves an order and then regularly goes back "empty" without clearing away used dishes or looking after the guests. That's how it looks on the tables. Double effort is inevitable. Guests who wait for service to place an order, have a request or want to pay are not noticed for a long time. You get the impression that the staff really wants to avoid eye contact with their guests. The restaurant doesn't do justice to the variety of Mediterranean cuisine at all. Onions, lemons and other typical Mediterranean ingredients were not secured.I'm almost certain that the souflaki is made from cheap goulash meat that wasn't grilled but just heated in a different way. The meat tastes so bland because it was not marinated before heating (definition souflaki). This preparation creates a tough, barely edible product. The same applies to the side dishes, which were hardly seasoned and therefore taste bland.There is no option for seasoning: there are no spice shakers and other things on the tables.Savings are made on everything.The price-performance ratio is inadequate.From a culinary point of view, I consider myself to be a frugal fellow who can overlook one or two shortcomings and has rarely written reviews.That will change now.I've never eaten so badly!

The food was very fine and not just run-of-the-mill Greek.

Got a “box seat” in the open window at the Tippelmarkt and enjoyed wonderful food from Vangelis, the owner. A pearl in Görlitz gastronomy!

Great food in a new location. We weren't disappointed and would be happy to come back - even if we mourn our old candle arch.This restaurant turned out beautifully and in no way tacky, as we had feared.Please keep it up.

Greek cuisine of the highest quality, Greek warmth as a service program - that not only makes you full, but also makes you happy!Gladly again and again!We are looking forward to our next visit to the new premises (at the eastern end of the Obermarkt), there will be more space!

Had dinner in the evening...didn't think it was that great...dark...and somehow the landlord was unmotivated...eating was fine...but there was no question as to whether there should be anything to drink as the glasses were obviously empty.Have also visited the other Greek ones... definitely better

Very cozy restaurant, was there for the first time yesterday. Really very good service and outstanding cuisine. Highly recommended...Update:This was my second time here and I wasn't disappointed again. We were quite late and the kitchen was almost clean and we still got something. The food was amazing. In terms of taste, the best Greek in Görlitz. You will be warmly welcomed and the waiter is fun for everyone.We will be back

Had dinner today. It was very, very tasty and cozy. If I want to eat Greek again, I would love to go to Mediteranos in Görlitz.
