Very friendly staff. When you arrive, you will first take a tour to get to know all the rooms and paths. The youth hostel is beautifully situated with a view of the sea. The town center is easy to reach on foot.

We have often taken our family vacations here. We were always thrilled with this youth hostel, especially because of its location.Both the children and the adults enjoyed the food. When the weather was good we were of course outside, but even when the weather was bad or in the evening you can sit comfortably in the fireplace room and play games or read. The staff is very friendly and accommodating!

So this youth hostel is really dirty, you can't even open the windows! Like in a closed, honestly bad place, who would think of not giving people keys? You can just go into every room and you can find food from outside everywhere! Dirty and a smell in the hallways, HAS ANYONE DIED THERE!? It smells so incredibly bad, and the water that you can refill for free...THAT WILL JUST BE DONE?! Where, WHERE SHOULD I GET DRINKS FROM? You can't get out of here anyway, and I can buy a new one for my back, so mattresses like this really come from the scrap heap, it's worse than lying on the floor and trust me WE HAVE TRIED ITIn short, not at all! Recommended and really bad here

Youth hostel is dirty and more like a psychiatric hospital. The food is terrible. The rooms are ugly furnished. The shower doors don't work properly. You can't open the window completely and there's no fresh air in the house after 10 p.m. It also stinks, especially in the entrance area. I think it's a shame that there is no kebab in Amrum. I would not recommend this youth hostel and these 4 stars are absolutely wrong. Please do not harm this youth hostel.

The youth hostel was very clean and well maintained back then. The food was also very good. There was really nothing to complain about.The best thing about this is that the youth hostel is right in front of the beach.The rooms here are very nicely designed.

INCREDIBLE DISGUSTING FOODTHE PASTA WASN'T IN A SAUCE BUT IN A COLD TOMATO SAUCE THINGS WERE CALLED MEGA GREAT AND UNPURE BY OTHER CLASSES

I don't know what drugs the people who gave 5 or 4 stars were on, but I'll give you a reality check, the food is very questionable and has hardly any taste and the rooms are small and have no toilets or showers, you have to shower share with the opposite sex and the rooms are dirty and the mattresses have mysterious stains on them and smell.The cupboards were infected with bugs etc.You couldn't close the doors from the inside and people could easily sneak into other rooms at night or steal.Additionally, SEVERAL TIMES small children from other classes were caught sneaking into our rooms while we were eating.Thank God the showers have partitions but I found a used plaster that has been hanging in a shower since I arrived.There are also dead bugs hanging on the walls and the mattresses will probably give me back pain until 2040.At least the view is nice, but the food is radioactive. Most of the staff I met are nice, but I would have loved it if they had taken out the trash because it quickly overflows.We also have to pack our own lunch because they don't have lunch.Not recommended, but the black hair on the mattress (none of us has black hair) tasted good 🥰

I found Bolognese in my cupboard. Mysterious stains on the bed.The staff was friendly, but that didn't help. The food seemed like they were trying to poison us, especially the vegetarian food.Small children ran around in our hallways and left footprints in our toilets.Diseases such as gastrointestinal developed extremely quickly between all classes.

Price performance ratio is right.The location is very good and from the terrace there is an unforgettable panorama.The sunset and sunrise are my absolute highlight.The staff is friendly and helpful.Only the food isn't really my thing, but the children still enjoyed it and that's what counts after all.Personally, I thought the locking system was great, which comes into effect from 10 p.m.The entire package is ideal for school trips and large families.The rooms are large enough and the sanitary facilities are also large.Depending on the selection, the rooms have a shower and toilet.All in all, I can now say with certainty that we will be back!
