It does the job when you leave it at the last minute for the marathon. Having tested the capsules in Tokyo, nothing to see, it's less practical. The entrance doors are not wide enough. No niche at the sockets to put the phone and horribly expensive

People on site, very welcoming. BUT, we arrived, paid for the stay AND the breakfasts. But we noticed that we did not feel good in these capsules (claustrophobia). We booked elsewhere and checked out with reception, explaining our feelings. When I get home, I see that they told Booking.com that we didn't show up. And they charged us a second time for the reservation! In addition, it is impossible to be reimbursed for 2x2 breakfasts paid in advance. They offered us a discount voucher for another trip BUT we had to give them the dates and the new destination within 24 hours! Otherwise, the offer fell through... Really not happy with the management of this hotel. In addition, for simple capsules, the price is exaggerated. I recommend ready-made hotels at the same price, or even cheaper for a full room and excellent service (for example the JL hotel N°76)... They make gold by cramming in 20 people. in a single room and making them pay the price of a real room... Avoid... Even if the staff is friendly...

Absolutely beautiful accommodation in a really convenient location. The bed was comfortable and the pods were not claustrophobic. Bathrooms were always clean and beautiful. There is a bar where you can also get coffee which made it extra cosy.Service was mostly excellent except for one girl who was really condescending and rude, especially on one occasion. When you are already dealing with travel stresses this is not what you want.

Lady of the Islands with a very unpleasant welcome, uncompromising towards foreign customers. Regulations to be signed on arrival. This hostess confuses alcohol which is prohibited and non-alcoholic energy drink apparently prohibited from drinking in the capsules or chicken cage or prison cell more precisely. Confiscated it and asked us to pay a fine of 200 euros.

Actually really cosy capsules and a we also got a fantastic service from the personale. They had bikes for rent (at a fair, almost cheap, price) which was a big plus during our summer stay in Amsterdam. The showers were really clean, fresh and well functioning and so were the toilets. We had breakfast each moring during our stay and, eventhough not best breakfast I've ever had, it was just what you need for breakfast: as much coffee as you want, apple and orange juice, bread and pastry, cereals, meat-balls and/or sausages, pancakes, fresh fruits and a little bit more. All in all my favourite place to stay in Amsterdam of all the places I've tried so far.

I'm here to contextualize the vote I placed. I can't say I was bad, but uncomfortable yes. Let's start with the positive things:- The staff is friendly.- Breakfast is varied and quite good.- The bathrooms, although shared, were cleaned every day.- The hotel is in a central and well-connected location.Let's move on to the sore points:- The beds are literally in holes in the walls, the mattress on the floor, no windows, no room to move. The doors to access these "rooms" are so low that even I had to bend down to get through (I'm 1.60m tall).- The linen was not changed every day and neither were the bathrobes.- We almost always found hair that wasn't ours on the sheets and bathrobes.- The bathrooms were shared, so we had to share showers, sinks and toilets with an entire corridor of "bunks" (needless to say, there was no bidet).- There is no elevator and the stairs are narrow and steep.- They stole my slippers.- To conclude (even if it is easily deduced from what I wrote before) there is the total, absolute lack of privacy.Considering that we paid almost 1000 euros to stay here for a week, it seems excessive to me.

Very good experience. Not recommended for claustrophobics. Very clean places, dimmed lights, shower with body cream for these ladies. I recommend spending a night in an atypical place. And what's more, we slept well.

Very nice hostel in vintage style. Capsules very cozy with air conditioning, beautiful wall decoration and changing LED lights. :) Everything was very clean and well maintained, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Museums and the Vondelpark to chill out in an enchanting setting are just around the corner.
