We were passing through the Zum Schützen restaurant. This gave us a very well-kept and welcoming impression, which was also reinforced by the staff. After ordering quickly and special requests were addressed without any problems, our daughter was offered something to paint. The food was tasty and well sized. We paid - as we understood it - to the junior boss, who in turn came to the table with her daughter and exchanged a few nice words with us. Ultimately, our daughter was allowed to choose a little something to take with her. This is what we mean by HOSPITALITY and WELCOME.We had a very pleasant stay and would come back.Note: Unfortunately, we had a completely different experience in the restaurant "Höhengasthaus Landwassereck" in Elzach, a few kilometers away. Please note my review there.

We visited the restaurant again today after 8 and 9 years and were really looking forward to it. Our children, even though they were very small at the time, always remembered “the shooter.” We still felt comfortable, ate very tasty and felt welcome thanks to the courteous service.

Were there for dinner with a bus company. Were received and served very friendly. The food was all very good. I was very impressed with toilets. Everything the lady might need is there. Very nice changing area with diapers, wet wipes and toys. In the dining area there is a children's corner with toys and a rocker for babies and high chairs

After 2022 and 2023, I was also in the shooter in 2024 with around 25 bikers. Hospitality like this is really special. Nice and warm innkeepers and the whole team are always friendly and helpful. The food is also very good and plentiful thanks to the in-house butcher shop. I always felt very comfortable there.

We were in very good hands with 7 people over the weekend. Overnight stay was inexpensive, food was better than before. (like everywhere) Great garage for motorcycles. The innkeepers are very nice and familiar. We can only recommend the house.

The heart is still in the right place here. Very friendly hosts, very pleasant atmosphere, very clean and tidy. The hosts always have a nice, quick saying for their guests. And when they sway along to the music with their guests late in the evening, that speaks for itself.Gladly again at any time!

Great restaurant. Totally nice and friendly. It wasn't the last time here. Were here again on New Year's Eve 2023. Absolutely a blast. The fillet is indescribable. Kudos to the chef and all the staff and to the Spath family. Everything perfect.

Very good restaurant. Super nice service. Fair price. We'd love to come back. Reservations are an advantage. They're always here when we're at the RV park. We can also highly recommend the butcher shop.
